We use TeamViewer when we want to access a computer at a different location. It is usually used to troubleshoot problems that another location may have. Due to the demand for remote work it was easy to use TeamViewer when we needed to make presentations or access content from a different location.

It is best suited for the work from home worker. It allows for a secure remote connection. It is easy to use and user friendly. You do not need to have a degree in technology to understand the software/application. All you need is for both computers to have TeamViewer and you good to go.

I am working remotely as this tool helps me to get in touch with the IT team if we are facing any issues while using a laptop. Also, if I want any software on my laptop that needs an administrator ID and password then I share the TeamViewer ID and password with the IT team and they take my access to install the required software.
TeamViewer Remote is without a doubt one of the most used platforms around the world and has been popular for its ease of use, in addition to having a very good reputation. With this software tool, we can remotely serve users who cannot travel geographically and this offers a great advantage for companies that are distributed in different headquarters, many of them distant, and without IT personnel.

  • This is to be the self-responsibility of the user who allows authorization to another user to ensure data privacy and security.
  • I have had problems with TeamViewer's shortcuts not working properly unless I run them from the command prompt.
  • The security of the sessions could be improved; I think they are not as rigid as they should be regarding authentication factors. Also, it depends on a good connection on both sides for adequate and uninterrupted use.

TeamViewer is the remote desktop solution used to access servers or desktops remotely, especially while working remotely from home. It provides. A secure connection to the remote device through their application also works in a proxy network. The connection is encrypted with a passcode that can be created by the admin avoiding all sorts of security threats that might happen during remote access.

  • Disconnections with remote systems are observed while on standby.

It is a reliable solution for remotely accessing desktops or servers if physical access is not possible. Multiple systems can be connected at the same time. Very intuitive to use and is secure Supports connectivity through the mobile app which can be downloaded from the Android play store. All connections are encrypted through a passcode keeping security in check.

I believe that Blizz by TeamViewer is an excellent communication tool. Currently, we use it in two ways to communicate internally and also for video conferencing with clients, which we can address individually to solve their questions and concerns.

Thanks to this communication tool, the level of synchronization in the internal workgroup have increased, which makes our work faster and more efficient. It has also greatly improved our communication with our customers or suppliers with whom we must always keep in touch.

  • It has good video resolution and focus adaptation.
  • Variety in forms of communication( Message, voice messages & writing.
  • It has an excellent capacity of people in a group conference. Perfect for business.

Cons

  • Little connectivity in the app by phone has problems logging in and disconnects.

Likelihood to Recommend

Appropriate use of this tool would be to use it for internal communication in the company or to contact customers. A misuse would be to use it for something personal like communicating with your family or friends. Since I think this tool is for commercial use.

Currently, TeamViewer is being used by some departments of the organization, like Information Technology, ITAS-Information Technology Applications and Services. It is used to provide remote support to clients, and to our employees too. With Team Viewer each support assistant can quickly access any machine in the organization's intranet. Team Viewer is really useful to our service desk, for helping any employee with tech support or even in-depth technical support.

  • It is easy to use, it allows control of any computer from any part of the world.
  • The communication between you and the computer being controlled is really fast, it has just a little delay.
  • It allows you to transfer files.
  • Really affordable.

Cons

  • Whenever you have a low bandwidth internet connection, you will have more delay, and can be kind of slow.
  • You won't be able to control a computer with a different version from yours.
  • Maybe they could add the function of viewing two remote computers at same time.

The support technicians do not need to go personally to repair something in your computer, he just takes remote control of it and solves your problem. The scenario where TeamViewer is less appropriate is when the internet connection is slow, you will have some lag.

I believe it is a great tool for remotely supporting customers and performing web conferencing. In instances, where a customer does not currently have the program installed it is occasionally easier to use web based remote control software's for quicker resolutions of issues.
