Synology dissections are generally used as reliable data storage locations. They allow for the connection of multiple drives, provide protection in high-risk situations, and enable the creation of small servers from their setup.

Pros

Protect nightly updates.
Hold data as folder redirecting.
Act as a small server.

Cons

Possibly have a more straightforward GUI.
Offer an offside data location in case of device destruction.
Offer a simple spin-up of server replacement for physical machines in the case of an emergency.

Because they're cheap and they hold the data safely, besides the fact that there is a non-perfect Power adapter going to the rear of the psychology, it is a trustworthy place to hold data.

I generally use it to backup all the data of various digital Devices like computer, phone, etc. It's a one product for keeping all the backups at one place which is also ease of use.
