Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Synergy Education Platform to manage all aspects of Student Information, including enrollment, parent communication, student records, English Language Learner status, and student notifications. It is also used to track historical student records, school year to school year, and staff records, which can include staff licensing.

Synergy is well-suited for seamlessly bridging enrollment and student information. Other organizations I have worked at used two separate platforms for this purpose. Synergy also merges, seamlessly, parent contact functions, using one platform.

Synergy is a great place to store all student data; but it is a horrible gradebook.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is very, very, very slow.
Our district created a system that is supposed to synch our classroom on canvas to synergy....this happens incompletely at best.
We have a help desk that I keep sending messages to letting them know the grade book on canvas is not synching to synergy.
It takes 3-6 steps to enter grades and make assignments excused.
This platform is rudimentary at best and you have to click save, it does not autosave anything.

It needs drastic improvements.
It takes 3 to 5 seconds to move from one page to another.
Very, very, slow.

IEP and 504 are accessible
student information is easily found in one place for teachers and administration
Please update this process it is very slow

to make a student assignment excused you have to open 2 different screens and then make 2 clicks and if you do not save, everything you have done is lost
memory needs to be improved so windows move faster
a click for excusing assignments should be added instead of 3 steps to get to a new screen to only click one button that says excused. If you are excusing 3 assignments this can take over 5 minutes per student.

Very slow, you literally have to click save for every transaction or it is lost. It should have an autosave feature.
It should have automatic commands:
E for excused
or a one-click solution for excusing student work

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Synergy for educational management (IEPs, grades, attendance, discipline). It is very useful and very user friendly. I love how I can log in to it even when I am not at school.

Less downtime during the day.
Not logging out after a certain time of inactivity.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This is used across my entire organization. It creates one fully utilized solution for all K-12 education platforms, and it is incredibly helpful in order to have all data that is needed in one place. In addition, the software is extremely streamlined and user friendly. It has everything from RTI Management to Analytics to Parent and Student Engagement. It is really helpful to have all of this information in one centralized location.

It is well suited for all K-12 education systems that are looking for effective ways to improve and streamline their information. It would not be as useful for a college or a university system as it does not have the complexity needed in order to carry out all of the specific functions that a university system would need.
