I have been using Sublime Text for 5 years. I use it for coding purposes. Sublime Text is an excellent tool for professional coders. The best thing about Sublime Text is that it is open source and it has a great feature of packages. This feature saves me a lot of time and I don't have to write as much code.

Sublime Text is a very lightweight application that runs smoothly on every system. It is very easy to code in all PHP frameworks and core PHP using it, so I recommend it. I have worked on 10 projects in Sublime Text so far, so now I find it very easy to use.

I use it for writing, editing and fixing HTML code for our email templates. I also use it for CSS code for our emails. We have a connection with our Github repository, so I also use it to code on our branches. I also use it as a simple notepad tool, to make notes.

I've used a lot of different notepad solutions to write code, but Sublime Text has always been the best. Especially the syntax with coloring for different code languages is amazing. I never want to switch again.

In the past, I used different notepad solutions to do mass find and and replace (for multiple open files) but that also works good with Sublime Text.

Sublime Text has a simple and integrated interface. I personally use Sublime Text for taking quick meeting notes. Sublime Text offers simultaneous editing of multiple lines and code blocks at the same time, which increases efficiency and also reduces the time taken to do tasks repeatedly. The free version offers almost all the features of the paid version.

Sublime Text is my go-to for any extensive coding or for when I need to write new code. The CMS I'm using has only small boxes for inputting code and often results in a lot of scrolling with little option to extend the size of the box. Sublime Text helps me to open up the code and see it clearly and as more of a complete whole. It's also helpful because it will automatically adjust the colors to whichever code format. This makes it easier to find and recognize issues, and just to read. (My CMS displays any code as all one color).

Pros

User-Friendly and Intuitive – it's a pretty simple and straight forward software that doesn't take much to learn how to use.
Aesthetically Pleasing - the design of the program, especially the colors used when a code type is selected, is pleasing to the eye.
Makes code more readable – being able to take the whole of a chunk of code and open it up in this software, with the colors indicating types of elements within the code, makes it much easier to read the code, locate errors, and do complex work with it.

Cons

Auto-recognize code type – it would be nice to have it recognize what type of code without manually selecting it every time or even just a default setting for your most commonly used code type.
Being able to run/test the code without using another software would be very helpful
Invalid code detector – for code like CSS, something that flags anything that isn't a valid standard code type.

Likelihood to Recommend

My CMS has a small window in which I can edit custom HTML/CSS. It can be expanded some, but not as much as I would like. It also displays all code as dark text on a white background. On a page where I am doing extensive custom coding, it is helpful to see it in a larger window and in a color-coded display so that I don't have to strain my eyes as hard. Especially when I'm trying to scan for specific elements and target issues and so that I don't have to scroll endlessly in a tiny window.

I use Sublime Text as my primary text editor for viewing source files and navigating code. It is a flexible editor that works with any programming language and is very customizable.

Pros

Display code in syntax specific color schemes that are customizable.
Allow you to do exhaustive searches on entire code directories.
Search code in user customizable directories.

Cons

It is free software but they have an annoying pop up to get you to buy it.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is well suited for navigating and editing code and searching through source code directories. It can be integrated with compilers to build software systems. About the only thing it does not (nor should) display other file types.

Sublime Text is one of the largest Text Editors with IDE and is one of the underrated Text Editors as a developer I have used so many editors but so far Sublime is one of the best and we can write code in any language and support all languages very well. it is open source and anyone can use this Editor. The problem like as Software developers need to work on different languages/technologies and for those all languages/technologies we can write code in this only.

Pros

Language Support very good like it supports most of the languages.
Autocompletion of Tag and Syntax.
Tag and Syntax highlighting.
Supports Plugins and integrations.

Cons

I think their pricing is bit high so they need to look in to this.
Cross-platform support need to be improved.

Well suited experience is that can work on one IDE for my different projects, and Syntax and Tag highlighting helps in writing well-structured code. Less appropriate scenarios, I personally did not dislike anything as such but they can improve their User Interface and can make it a more interactive user experience and they can promote their product more than everyone gets to know about this amazing Editor.

This is being used by nearly all the people in my organization. It is mainly so since it has features for nearly all programming languages and supports plugins for the same. It is addressing the problem of writing efficient code fast by helping us with autocomplete, simultaneous output, color-coded codes, and other features.

Pros

It is very light and boots up instantaneously.
It has tons of plugins that will help you to customize sublime entirely according to your needs and thereby is not bloated
Package control is really easy to work with and most plugins can be installed in 2 just clicks.
Free version has nearly all the features of the paid version.
Its User Interface is simple and makes it easy to located many features.
It gives you a ton of control over your ide setting through User-settings where you can customize almost everything.

Cons

The free version keeps bugging to buy and gets irritating(on the contrary buying it is worth it in my opinion)
Git integration is clumsy and sometimes glitchy and has room for improvement.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is suitable for all situations. However, I would recommend Visual Studio for c++ if you don't mind a bloated IDE. It is, however, best suited for javascript since it even allows you to get node-based output in the terminal, which makes work a lot faster.

Sublime is the ideal text editor I’ve found for my C++ programming language, and it works very well. C++ code editing has all the features we would expect. Unlike many other IDEs, Sublime does not memory-intensive and starts up. I like the idea of being able to see a vertical miniature. I can find code sections more thoroughly and hide code groups, which helps me avoid tinkering with unnecessary parts. There is nothing more appealing about this software than its excellent coding environment.

Pros

Using colorful coding makes it simple to review or write code and accurate code completion.
In Sublime Text, there are a lot of shortcuts. It's easy to manipulate text, and we can text package controls to save a lot of time.
Fast and efficient, Sublime Text is ideal for working with large datasets. In turn, it enhances the enjoyment we derive from coding.

Cons

Plugins are easier to use and less complicated but transferring your license to a new computer isn't as simple as it sounds.
Sublime has an automatic file comparison feature, but it's challenging to use and should be improved.
Adding the ability to mark or highlight the text with different colors would be an excellent application.

Likelihood to Recommend

In comparison to other text editors, Sublime is a lot more capable. Sublime has useful features like multiple line editing, syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and file searching. In separate windows, you can work on several projects simultaneously. Flexibility and multitasking are enabled. Sublime Text is a helpful tool for anyone who works in programming or IT, according to my experience. Even if you work for a large or small company, it doesn't matter. Programming can be fun if you know what you're doing.

Sublime text is my main code editor. It's light, fast and reliable. As well, its plugin market has a lot of modules that may improve its usage without [sacrificing] too much performance. Since version 4.x it has improved significantly allowing code styling for several programming languages natively. Also, its dark theme is smooth so the user's eyes adapt quickly and do not suffer when using it

Pros

it is fast and light
it is reliable, it never crashes
its autocomplete feature for languages such as Python or PHP is one of the best in the market

Cons

detecting automatically JSX syntax may fail, forcing the user to set it manually
its git integration has improved, but it may provide more help to the user; [especially] when solving conflicts

Likelihood to Recommend

If you are a junior software developer that does not know what code editor to use or a senior one that is looking for a change, sublime is the best one in the market. I have been using it for more than 6 years and has never disappointed me. I have tried others like VSCode but I always return to Sublime.

Sublime Text is used only by some departments in our organization. In our department, we do data scraping using Python. In order to do this, you must know a little bit of HTML and CSS. We use Sublime Text as a text editor to write Python, HTML, and CSS codes as it is very fast, easy to use, and has very good code completion.

Pros

With colorful coding it is extremely easy to review codes or write your own code
As I mentioned earlier code completion is really accurate
Sublime Text has many shortcuts, which saves you a lot of time
Sublime Text is very fast software and does not lag. This makes your coding experience much more enjoyable
Sublime Text is perfect for working with large datasets
Sublime Text gives you opportunity to customize it and so you can choose the particular theme that fits you the best and much more.

Free version is constantly "begging" you to buy a license

I will recommend Sublime Text to anyone. In my opinion, Sublime Text is well suited for everybody in any scenario. First of all, it does not matter if you are working in a big company or a small company as it has a free version, so everyone has access to it. Also it is a very fast software, which has everything necessary for you to have an enjoyable coding experience.
