Fidelity planned on using JIRA for its Quality Assurance practices like logging Bugs, Quality Dashboard, managing releases etc.
Since JIRA itself is not a Test management tool, hence our problem statement was to either buy a separate Test cases management tool and manage releases and add test cases there or to look for a JIRA plugin for Test Case management.
Zephyr Enterprise addressed our need to create a test plan and traceability between Tests and Stories. It also eased our ability to execute test cases and monitor these test executions at a later date.
A library of test cases with a categorization like System Tests, E2E cases, and Integration cases and the ability to re-use them in each regression or sanity cycle.

- It is very helpful to have a traceability matrix across Stories/tasks and easy to link all the test cases to be covered to stories.
