Slido serves primarily as an audience engagement tool, widely used by organizations to enhance interaction during meetings and events. In TrustRadius reviews, its effectiveness in making sessions more participatory is consistently highlighted, with live polls, Q&A, and quizzes being standout capabilities that facilitate real-time feedback and dynamic discussions. Reviewers frequently integrate Slido to transform passive audiences into active contributors, leveraging its ease of use and seamless platform integrations to improve the overall event experience.
While reviewers note Slido's positive impact on learning outcomes and operational efficiency through time savings, areas for improvement include limited branding customization, which half of reviewers cited as a concern. The absence of a dedicated mobile application and simplistic reporting features were also mentioned as drawbacks. Despite these limitations, the overall sentiment indicates Slido successfully fosters more dynamic and productive interactions.
Pros
Enhances audience engagement through interactive features like live polls and quizzes
Facilitates real-time feedback and immediate understanding of audience sentiment
Slido greatly improves our meetings. People can easily participate in live polls and ask questions, even anonymously. greatly aids in maintaining everyone's interest and obtaining candid comments.
Pros
Lets people ask anonymous questions easily.
Runs live polls and quizzes to boost engagement.
Works well with Zoom, Webex, and PowerPoint.
Cons
It's challenging to alter the design to fit our logo.
Reports and observations about events are rather simple.
During live sessions, the mobile experience can be a little awkward.
Likelihood to Recommend
Town halls, large meetings, and trainings are effective because they maintain an open and participatory environment.
Less ideal: When you need thorough surveys, have small meetings, or have bad internet.

We use Slido to interact with TV and Radio audiences: the host sometimes invites people to ask questions, give feedback, and participate in a quiz. Occasionally we would also conduct UX surveys as it is a platform that the audience already knows. We love that it supports local languages and is really easy to implement into a workflow.
Pros
Quizzes with Leaderboards
Q & As
Branding and embedding
Cons
In a poll with 2 simple questions, I would like to have an option to show all results (not just of the one, selected).
Support for Powerpoint on Mac is still missing, I think....

It's excellent for quizzes for larger audiences: radio listeners or TV viewers. I also love the fact it is customizable: adding logos, agenda, and external links make a really good impression: it looks like it's your app. It is also very easy for participants to start using it. Barrier is low, both for admins and participants.
I've been using Slido inside my Webex meetings to get attendee feedback or help guide the conversations. But I also used it outside of meetings to gather information from stakeholders for decisions and the direction we need to take. It's been really helpful to get personal feedback since people can choose to answer anonymously or with their names. That way if the information is a critique people can answer more freely. As a Side note, used it for some family events as well. The kids didn't think it was all that interesting until the answers started populating dynamically and they could see their votes counted just like all the rest.
has great downloadable analytics as well as online graphical reports
works easily on mobile inside a Webex or independent of a meeting or using Microsoft Teams or Zoom
Cons
I'd like the QR code to be scanned from INSIDE the app. Why only be able to enter the code? Let us use the camera inside the app to scan and launch Slido
a few more fun graphics

You can create and save loadable engagement templates so if you have sales meetings where you ask the same kinds of questions of the attendees, just make it a Slido and load that right from your Webex instance. It's free, why not use it and get people engaged?

We use Slido in our team meetings, first to find out how everyone is feeling but also so that we comment on the strategies that are being discussed. It is a fast and efficient way to get the opinion of others. Love it!
Pros
Create Cloud words
Vote for something
Share opinions
Cons
reporting... might be good to create custom resports base of the data used and the attendees
Likelihood to Recommend
APPROPIATE - At meetings where you want to "hear" from the team and to might be a big group so not all will have the opportunity to talk - When you want to take a fast decision on something simple (black or white) and allow the people to vote LESS APPROPIATE - if you want that people participate actively (talking not just sending their comment)
I am using Slido to get feedback from users on how meetings or training sessions have been delivered, to act as CSAT information. I am also demoing Slido to clients to share with them the recent Webex updates and integration with Slido. It adds another layer of interaction to a meeting and can be a useful tool to collate more information from meeting participants.
Pros
Gathering responses from a large number of participants at one time
Collating results in an easy-to-read format
Easy to access
Cons
Having multiple people be able to manage Slido during a meeting
Likelihood to Recommend
Slido is ideal to use in meetings where you want to gather opinions and feedback in the form of surveys. With multiple options for how to pose the questions in the survey, you can find the right format to match the question you are asking, whether it be multiple choice or word clouds. With the rating format, you get ratings at the end of a training session, then you can use those results to create a CSAT.

Slido helps our organization to collect polls from users and teams to shape our products better. With Slido's simple design anyone without tech experience can help us to improve our product experience and share their thoughts
Pros
Anonymous poll
Interactive UI
Anonymous vote
Cons
Anonymous vote with login required should be a feature to add

We usually use Slido for team QNA or in all hands where leadership don't require to know who has asked questions and can help to answer and give insights for our products and org.
