SimpleTexting offers a versatile set of use cases that cater to a diverse range of needs. With its monthly supporter engagement feature, users can connect with their supporters by providing exclusive content and gathering valuable feedback. The short-code setup enables churches to instantly reach out to visitors and keep them updated on various ministries.
For marketing purposes, SimpleTexting serves as both a mass and niche marketing tool, allowing users to send personalized messages, as well as links, forms, and surveys. It proves particularly useful in communicating with conference attendees, providing timely announcements and accommodating schedule changes. Moreover, SimpleTexting meets the communication preferences of Gen Z individuals who find email obsolete.
Non-profit organizations and sports teams also benefit from SimpleTexting's capabilities. A minor league baseball team utilizes it to inform fans about upcoming games and maintain their engagement. For churches without an email newsletter system, SimpleTexting facilitates updates and reminders transmission to congregations. App developers leverage the product's capabilities for driving app downloads via SMS shortcodes. By sending mass text messages, SimpleTexting allows organizations to disseminate project donation requests and live streaming alerts to volunteers, supporters, and donors.
On the internal front, SimpleTexting proves invaluable for sending immediate messages to staff, members, and guests. The platform boosts attendance and social media live views. It is also employed for marketing purposes by promoting coding classes and events while being a vital channel for critical customer communication. We used SimpleTexting primarily for scheduling reminders and customer communication. We did also use it for some communication with technicians. We as a company install internet and need people to be home for it so customer interactions are crucial to our business. We would send 20000 texts a month out to customers so it was important to have a very functional application to carry out the job.
Pros
Identify numbers with contacts
Capable of sending csv mass texts
Easy user interface
Cons
With out company transitioning to salesforce we were unable to integrate it well with the new CRM,
Separating and transferring conversations between departments was not very easy.
Having quick replies would be nice

If you do not need to integrate your communication tools with your CRM this is a good tool otherwise you might want a fully functional tool that includes calling, chats, emails. If you are a smaller company with a small Customer experience department this could be good fit for you. Larger companies with many departments needing to act on the same communication would not be a good fit for this program.

We use SimpleTexting to engage with monthly supporters. It's a perk monthly donors receive when they sign up, and through texting, they have access to exclusive content that is just for them, or they receive it before others. We also solicit feedback and enjoy hearing from supporters through SimpleTexting as well. For us, it's a way to highlight the relational aspect of joining our organization as a supporter and the nature that the organization and its donors are in the work together.
Pros
Easy, quick and simple set-up, you can hit the ground running
Tracking texts sent, texts received for easy communication
Ways for people to sign-up and opt-in to receive texts is easy and clear
Cons
It has been difficult to use the platform on one account for more than one purpose (toll-free texting AND shortcodes, for example)
I don't hear about product updates unless I visit the website; it would be beneficial if there were even a newsletter for existing customers
There isn't an integration for our organization's current CRM

SimpleTexting has been wonderful for the purposes for which we signed up. We wanted an easy-to-use platform that allowed 2-way texting, assigned a phone number, had the ability to collect phone numbers/contact easily (whether through an import or a user sign-up, spoiler SimpleTexting has both), etc. It has provided all of that and more easily, without a contract. And the platform is so easy to use for our team. One of the only issues we're having is wanting to expand our use of SimpleTexting, and using multiple options for texting (i.e., shortcode, toll-free, landline/business enabling) has been difficult on one account.
We use this to communicate with attendees during a conference for announcements and schedule changes. It also serves as a reminder to students on our campuses about different events or details regarding an event they are already coming to. As Gen Z could agree that email seems obsolete to them, their phone usage is still incredibly high so we know this meets them where they're at to get pertinent information to them.
Pros
Easy to use - app on your phone to send quickly.
Make different lists of people.
Can schedule texts to go out ahead of time.
Cons
Estimating carrier charges better.
There's a plan that has 7500 texts and then the next plan up is a ton more so I'd love to see one that's more in between for our use.

Well suited: reaching Gen Z or others who are on their phones constantly, for quick communication, urgent communication, to send out additional resources or links. Less appropriate: for an older generation who isn't going to be using texting as much of a primary communication method, not for longer messages or explaining different things.
We use SimpleTexting strictly for mass communication from organization to members and department staff.
Pros
customer service is great with responding to questions and concerns
Cons
I feel they can improve with the number of characters that can be sent out
Likelihood to Recommend
SimpleTexting is very well suited for mass text messaging to people who subscribe to be added to your list of contacts. They are also well suited for keeping contacts organized.
We use SimpleTexting to get out immediate messages to all staff and members. Thanks to SimpleTexting we are able to communicate effectively and immediately with the staff, members, and guests who look to stay in touch with the organization. Because of SimpleTexting, our attendance has increased along with the number of social media live views.
Pros
Disburse mass messages effectively.
Cons
We should be able to group specific numbers to a category to send messages to a specific category group.
Likelihood to Recommend
Being able to go in and change status to active or inactive is great. Also being able to reply back to specific people is great and not always a mass text.

We use SimpleTexting to contact leads about building a custom home for them. We also use it to stay in communication with current clients and link this to our database system that tracks communication for our records. It has been very useful and user-friendly!
Pros
Notifications.
Tracks times waiting.
Provides details on the contact that you can modify as well.
Cons
Limitation on characters in the text.

Since we have a certain number of credits, I think it is good for short texts, but with our clients, some have lengthy questions that they want an answer texted back on and it takes up more credits. It would be nice not to have the limitation on characters.
SimpleTexting is being used on numerous of our onsite marketing campaigns to deliver potential users rewards for engaging with our platform. The tool is mainly used by our events coordination team and marketing team. SimpleTexting allows us to have users review our platform on their mobile device and all they need to do is enter a SMS shortcode to access our surveys.
Pros
The User Interface is incredibly easy to use and figure out.
I reached out to their service team for new strategies and tactics. They were always to help me with my company's campaigns.
Setup takes seconds!
Cons
I wish SimpleTexting provided better recommendations to SMS shortcode recommendations. Many that I looked up were already taken.
I wish SimpleTexting informed me better when people texted me back to the SimpleTexting account.
Likelihood to Recommend
I needed to onboard multiple new users on our platform at the same time in a simple way that was mobile friendly and provided analytics back to me when someone opted out, never engaged or responded back. SimpleTexting did all of this very easily!
