Serpstat is a great SEO investment for your website and company

Rating: 9 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Serpstat fills a big hole in our SEO process. Some of our top uses include on-site analysis, organic keyword analysis, keyword suggestions, keyword rankings and PPC analysis as well.

I especially love the data you get on organic keywords that you aren’t following. The tool gives data beyond what Google offers, and really helps you with your content plan/focus keywords.

Pros

  • Organic keyword analysis
  • Keyword rank tracking
  • Site analysis (reports)
  • PPC keyword suggestions/analysis
  • Keyword filtering

Cons

  • Mobile functionality would be great
  • The UI could be updated
  • Suggested competitors would be nice

Likelihood to Recommend

Serpstat is well suited for an almost all in one SEO solution. The application has most tools an SEO or business owner would need for SEO. As a long time user of Serpstat I would recommend it to a user wanting to have a robust toolkit for their website and future marketing (organic, PPC, etc.). The learning curve is steep, but once you understand how the site works, and filters, etc. it is a very strong SEO tool.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Serpstat to manage SEO for the website. It has helped me find the relevant keywords and am able to track competitors as well in their dashboard. I like that I can have 5 projects with their basic program which saves my business money.

Pros

  • Find the right keywords
  • Help me see what competitors are using
  • Helps me produce better content

Cons

  • The only thing I do not like about Serpstat that it uses a "credit" system to pull down keywords. I would love to see a "warning" screen that tells you all your credits will be gone in this crawl.
  • If it were a little easier to use

Likelihood to Recommend

The only thing I do not like about Serpstat that it uses a "credit" system to pull down keywords. I would love to see a "warning" screen that tells you all your credits will be gone in this crawl. However, their support service is fabulous in responding and I was able to get help to use their program better. I had used SEMRush prior but it was getting very expensive so I made the switch several months ago.

Serpstat - Great SEO audit and reporting tool

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Serpstat to audit my website and customer websites. Serpstat has been really helpful in helping the nonprofit organizations that I work with to develop an SEO content marketing plan. I use several tools to help with SEO. Serpstat is able to provide an additional reference when creating SEO plans. The audits have been really helpful in explaining what needs to be done when I am speaking with someone that does not have knowledge regarding SEO.

Pros

  • Audit Reports are nice.
  • User interface is easy to navigate.
  • Domain analysis has been great for creating a baseline.

Cons

  • Some of the the audit points are too technical and require more explanation.
  • Would like additional report editing options.
  • More suggestions for SEO improvement.

Likelihood to Recommend

Serpstat has been really helpful for presenting reports to customers regarding their current SEO status and possible improvements. The report is structured in a way that makes sense to walk someone with zero prior SEO knowledge through each of the data points. Sometimes Serpstat output will be very different from other report results provided by other tools. In cases like this, it is difficult to share with a customer two different reports when the same results are wildly different.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I run an SEO agency. Serpstat is a full-service digital marketing tool for small businesses and agencies. It's a very helpful tool to do keyword research and run website audits. You can find a lot of info about how your website is showing up and comparing it with competitors. Competition analysis is helpful to see what keywords other people are targeting. The technical audit helps with your on-page SEO. This tool also covers PPC and backlinks. does everything you need from a marketing standpoint.

Pros

  • on page seo audit
  • keyword research
  • competition analysis
  • links

Cons

  • maybe accuracy
  • better backlink quality
  • more ppc features

Serpstat is perfect for any marketing agency or marketing specialist/director.

Serpstat is a Solid SEO Toolkit for the Price

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Serpstat to find great new keywords to target for rankings, uncover competitor backlinks, and track our websites' rankings over time to see how well our SEO is working. Serpstat a powerful suite of tools. That work well together to help you quickly figure out ways to get more traffic (by finding high-potential keywords) how to build authority (by uncovering competitors' sites backlinks and mimicking and outperforming when possible), and measuring results (by seeing how your site is moving in Google's results).

Pros

  • Solid keyword research functionality
  • Generous rank tracking limits

Cons

  • Kind of expensive, but more generous limits than other more costly tools
  • Not as many website/competitor backlinks shown as Ahrefs

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're interested in ranking better for more keywords and generating more traffic, Serpstat is a great tool--if you've got the budget for it. It's not expensive for a lot of small to mid-sized companies, but if you're running a really small business and trying to grow, the monthly cost could be a bit steep--but it's much better than not having any tools and going at optimization blindly. It's also more affordable than some of the bigger competitors and offers comparable functionality. The site audit feature can help you identify weak areas of your site from a technical standpoint (though there are more thorough site audit tools available). The backlink analysis can help you see how your competitors are ranking well.

A Terrific All-In-One SEO Tool That Won't Break The bank

Rating: 8 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Serpstat is our main SEO research tool when conducting keyword and backlink analysis for clients as well as competitors. It is one of our go-to tools for our marketing department. Serpstat has a well-designed dashboard that is easy to navigate and to keep track of the loads of data it outputs for each domain. We can quickly perform website audits using the auditing tool that typically would take several hours with the assortment of tools we used to use.

One of our favorite features in Serpstat is the Content Marketing section where you enter a keyword and Serpstat gives you a list of questions related to that keyword. The perfect tool for creating content around a specific keyword. The all-in-one feature set allows us to use a single app for almost all of our SEO needs.

Pros

  • The UI is really clean and laid out in a logical way. Even beginner SEO types will be able to easily find their way around the app.
  • The ability to export data in a variety of different formats makes it very easy to send quick reports to clients or for integrating into larger data sets.
  • Serpstat has a variety of different SEO tools which makes it easy to conduct extensive research on a domain without having to switch to other software.
  • The website auditing tool is fast and thorough and allows to you get a quick snapshot of the SEO health of a domain.

Cons

  • While Serpstat has a very comprehensive database, we still find with smaller volume keywords their data can be off or non-existent when we compare the data to competitors.
  • The pricing plans can be stingy with the monthly data allotments, especially when it comes to keyword position tracking.
  • Support can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are fast to respond other times it can take several days for support to get back to you.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you are looking for an affordable all-in-one SEO tool to manage multiple websites then Serpstat is a great option. It is not the best in category for any one feature, but it offers a wide range of very good SEO tools, all housed in a single app. If you are serious with SEO, this will not be your only tool but it will save you the cost and trouble of managing several different SEO monthly subscriptions for various tools.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Serpstat is used for tracking overall client SEO performance. Their dashboard makes it easy to see whether we, as a marketing comapny, are doing a good job of increasing the overall search engine visibility for our clients.

Serpstat is really good at analyzing onsite and technical SEO metrics, which is the foundation for every website.

Pros

  • Onsite SEO auditing.
  • Technical SEO auditing.
  • Keyword clustering and identifying content opportunities.

Cons

  • Offsite SEO.
  • Link Index.
  • UX/UI of the tool.

Likelihood to Recommend

Serpstat is really good at presenting the overall technical and onsite SEO perfomance of multiple websites and how they change over time. Their index is not as vast as Ahrefs', for example, but they're very enthusiastic when it comes to implementing new features and countries to their index.
Website auditor is top-notch and it's getting new features and upgrades almost every month.
