Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SEON is an application that we use to determine any underlying threats on each account, whether it may be a 3rd party use of a card, multiple accounts, suspicious bouncing geo locations etc. It also displays if a person has reached their daily limit of purchases, if their spending increases etc.

Pros

  • Identifies chargeback issues
  • Display all relevant info on front page
  • Automatic block on accounts that may give a high red flag

Cons

  • The length of time to load accounts
  • No social-oriented tools
  • The location is not always on point. Someone may be in a nearby state but SEON shows otherwise

Likelihood to Recommend

One of the ways SEON works is by preventing payment fraud and bonus abuse. SEON can verify users in real-time by analyzing digital footprints, device data, and behavioral patterns to identify high-risk transactions. It also detects chargeback. In my daily work task, I come across players who are unable to purchase due to these Chargeback errors and with SEON working on clean and on time, the issue is addressed in a timely manner and can be escalated. It stops the player from making additional purchase which could put our company at a disadvantage, in case player continues to file Chargeback, so we have control over the purchases and can have the issue rectified early and effectively.

I am Extremely Disappointed by 146% Price Hike!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

The services and API were decent, but after being a loyal customer for 4 years, they suddenly raised their prices on us by 146.9% within just 5 weeks. In our experience, they were unwilling to negotiate even slightly on their new pricing. As a result, I can no longer recommend them.

Improved customer support response times and more customisation options in the API. Also, in our experience, not sending unpersonalised email when they increase their pricing by 146% ! So I think their "Global Success Services" has definitely a lot of room to improve

SEON. Fraud Fighters is used in our company for sales assistance on a web page and avoid fraud on it. Since a while ago many customers reported that they did not receive their merchandise and a lot of money was lost.

Cons

  • I wish that SEON. Fraud Fighters had a live tracking map of orders.
  • Maybe IP check could be more precise with mobile IPs.

It is a very good tool for an established business that wants to follow up on their orders to avoid any type of fraud, which can later be a headache for not having a way to follow up properly.

SEON offers automated, user-friendly and effective fraud prevention

SEON Sense gives fraud managers a complete end-to-end solution with flexible features to fit the way you do business and has lowered our fraudulent chargeback rates by almost 90% since we first started using it.

It is well suited for smaller businesses that would be a lot more in danger if a bigger amount of fraudulent transactions would come in.
SEON is removing threats, bad merchants, and fraudsters from the equation.

SEON helped is to significantly reduce chargebacks and fraud transactions

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We integrated SEON to different authentication points in the customer user journey. Our goal was to reduce fraudulent activities, but without creating any friction. The data enrichment tools are extremely powerful and with the help of them we are able to verify user’s based on their digital identity.

  • We did not really experience any cons of using SEON Sense so far

We also establish fraud patterns that improve our fraud prevention systems. It saves time and provides a good overview of customer interaction.
