As complete as PowerSuites can be, SEO PowerSuite has you covered in your SEO Journey!
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
As "All-In-One" as you can get with SEO!! SEO PowerSuite is the most complete package of software to date! Even though I have been switching towards online services like Semrush, SE Ranking and Ahrefs, I keep coming back to SEO PowerSuite. Reason? It has pretty much everything you need to optimize your online presence as a small or large business. Even the free version is so complete, it gives everyone the opportunity to try it out and maybe even keep it as it is. The free limitation mainly lies in saving. You cannot save and/or export any data towards external documents. This is something you usually want to do after a few hours of research, so in the free version, you have to manually copy and paste information. Also, any connections you make with services like Google Analytics or Google Search console, will be removed after logging out. Is that a problem? Not at all. Especially if you want to work with clients and help them with the basics of SEO, this tool will be of great value! On top of that, they offer a lot of free tutorials and guides to get you started in your Optimalization journey.
Pros
- Website SEO research. Is your website SEO optimized or is it still missing valuable opportunities to rank better.
- A fun surprise what the Beginners guide that SEO PowerSuite offers. With this guide, you not only learn how to use the software, but you will also get a full understanding how a SEO analysis will work!
- And don't get me started on the features! Oh, there are so many features in each part of the software. It is a good thing that they have seperated the tools into different pieces of software.
Cons
- The limitations of the free version. The fact that you cannot save your work seems to be a good way to differentiate the free version from the paid one. However, they also added some limitations in a random way throughout the software. Limiting the search results or keyword results are a weird and unneeded feature.
- Pricing. Tied in with the other limitation mention, having lower priced tiers would make more sense. This could also bring in more new clients. In my experience, people like the software a lot, but don't want to pay these higher prices.
- The amount/location of the features. No problem with the amount per se, but there are soooo many features, it sometimes makes it a bit difficult to find everything in all different pieces of software. Even the non-expert mode, it is a bit much sometimes.
Likelihood to Recommend
After starting your online business, you have to use SEO PowerSuite to start up. You want to know where you have to go in terms of SEO journey, what keywords you need to use, who your competition is and which locations are the most important to you. Also, you need to know the power of your website, how well it performs now and how it can be improved. If you just want to start blogging for fun, about stuff that interests you and only you, you might find this program a bit over the top. It has way too many features to "just" see how many visitors you get on your website. A simple plugin will probably do the job.
