Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Travel is common in my company and having a system that accurately consolidates all the information regarding expenses is key. Also, it being integrated with SAP makes it even easier, because it automatically accrues expenses, the expense is charged to the correct cost coding, consolidating information and financial system is made very easy

Pros

  • User friendly platform
  • Connection to financial system
  • Easy to find cost coding
  • Mobile app and web platform interface

Cons

  • Modify approval flow can be hard
  • Speed between card company and the app. Bank app is immediate, it can take up to a few days to have expenses reflected in SAP Card Management apps

Likelihood to Recommend

It is an incredible tool for companies with frequent travel or frequent expenses with corporate cards, companies that are seeking automation of processes, who want technology over a simple and manual expense reconciliation done in excel. Particularly helpful in markets where country tax system and needs are very strict, and invoice and receipt records are required

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use SAP Card Management in conjunction with Concur. Our employees use the cards to book travel and training, and then create expense reports for said expenses.

Pros

  • Tracks Expenses
  • Ease of use
  • Requires approved request

Cons

  • Not everything that can be done on computer is reflective in the phone App.
  • Alerts are not up to date with new User Interface layout which is misleading to users.
  • When have issues it would be easier to call than put in ticket and wait for response.

Likelihood to Recommend

We use the SAP Card Management in Conjunction with Concur this is well suited for our business needs because it requires our users to obtain approval for request prior to use and then helps generate the expense report once the travel is complete. We are contemplating on expanding the use of the system to our purchases because of it's ease of use.
