Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We visualize data from SAB BW via SAP Analytics Cloud Review and want to try planning. SAC makes it easy to show the data in a nice visual way and we make our IT strategy scenarios easily comparable. Another use case is supplier data in the procurement area. We use it in headquarter and plan to roll it out in Finance Planning and Forecasting as well.

right now we are using it only as a front end application. However, we would like to do our planning in the tool as well so we are learning how to and getting some feedback from different companies as well.

I am working as SAP Security Architect in my organization and using SAP S/4HANA but unfortunately there is no direct reports available for security purposes, hence we have used to SAP Analytics cloud to build the reports for Security areas, Currently we are using many reports on SAC and its helping end users in many ways as technical understanding is normally difficult for business users and SAC is helping us in overcoming those.

Pros

We can create Stories and Dashboard in very quick and easy way
SAC can run on live data, and it helps in real time analysis
Using SAC either we can model data in SAC itself or we can also use data model from other systems

Cons

Better Transport and Change Management so that our changes should be moved from DEV to production environment
Currently their Role management is challenging and confusing either they should move to Team or Role any one
Future Road-map is not clear for many customer after BDC came into picture

within the spare parts business of Ford we do have a limited set of licenses which enable our forecasting team to improve the forecasting of spareparts with enhanced anaytics and also allow the review of master data quality in terms of how the parts are doing with regards to reaching their stage of beeing salable. Also the business users are able to easily generate reports on their own based on the data which is available in SAP Analytics Cloud

We are using SAP Analytics Cloud for tracking manufacturing process activities. Starting from Raw material input to lab to processing to QC to packaging we analyze the data on SAP Analytics. We have created multiple KPI based on divisions which matters to site manager and department HOD. The KPi involves LOT release KPI, Average batch release time, manufacturing cycle time, dispatch summary, production volume, on hand inventory and much more. All the above KPI are most frequent analyzed kpi across each sites.

We have SAP modules at each sites and all the data is added, managed and maintained in the same platform so its a win win for us to use SAP Analytics Cloud. User roles helped us to differentiate who will do what based on analytical module or planning module or someone is just a viewer. Site managers are some one who tracks data on day to day bases to improve the process. The analytical module really helped the site to perform well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

SAP Analytics Cloud is used by us to prepare a 10 year and 5 year sales forecast and market segment growth. We use it to input data, compare with actual sales numbers and then take decisions based on the visualizations. SAP Analytics Cloud has improved our forecasting method and reduced complexity of handling multiple Excel sheets. We are using this service for marketing database, production planning and segmentation of customers.

In our company, we handle numerous part lists according to client, dimension, region, and company using SAP Analytics Cloud. We oversee additional departmental data as well. We are moving from several outdated ERP systems to a single SAP system.
