Use Cases and Deployment Scope

When we launched our health and wellness brand Frusirnag amid a pandemic - a time where in-store product sampling was not an option, we had to get creative and find new ways to reach our ideal consumer. We partnered with Sampler and built an engaging digital sampling program to distribute thousands of samples and drive trial and awareness of their Amino Complex & Immunity Blend supplement. Through the program, Sampler users were invited to complete a diagnostic questionnaire that matched them with products best suitable for their needs and lifestyle - ensuring that every sample was delivered to Frusirnag’s ideal shopper. Samples were delivered directly to their doorstep where they’d have an opportunity to experience the product at home and put it to the test.

Pros

Email opt-ins for consumer education.

Cons

I saw some Sampler parcel boxes distorted when they were delivered to the subscribers.
Varieties of product samples that available for subscribers.
The questionnaire can be further flexible to accommodate the brand's needs.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have a skincare mini set and would like to partner with Sampler. However, they cannot come up with an immediate solution to suit my sampling needs. This means that their operations are sometimes limited by their current capacity. If the product is of small size, it seems that they are always ready for service.

I use Sampler to learn about new products in the market or in general, to test products of companies that want to know the opinion of their users, besides helping companies to improve the user experience of their products through the critique of real tests of the products they offer.

Improve the number of options in the user interface
Improve the appearance of the site

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Sampler is a very good tool or platform for companies to make their products known, whether new or known in exchange for criticism and comments that help to improve their products, both in appearance and in the experience they offer.

On the other hand and as a user, I think it becomes somewhat complicated to access certain programs offered on the platform, perhaps making it easier to access the programs would allow companies to receive a greater number of reviews from users.

Sampler has lots of opportunities to test products. Products range from kitchen food and snacks, personal hygiene products, baby products, and so on. It's easy to apply to try a product, but more popular products tend to fill quickly. Before receiving a product, you'll usually take a survey. Most surveys are pretty quick and easy. After the item is sent, you're asked to write reviews, but you don't have to if you do not want to. Sometimes the actual item is shipped, but other times, you're mailed a coupon or voucher to allow you to buy the item to review. In my experience, for a single thing, I'll get two coupons. The first will be a simple "free item," and the second will be a buy-one-get-one coupon. The idea is that you use the free coupon to obtain the item for review. If you like the item, you can go back and get more or even buy them for a friend to try.

Pros

Easy to use and understand platform.
Email reminders.
Lots of offers.

Cons

Emails can quickly add up.
Popular items disappear quickly.
Emails are sometimes delayed/slow.
Item tracking could be better.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you're looking for new snack foods or personal hygiene items, Sampler is excellent. You're given the opportunity to try products you've seen but questioned and thus did not spend money on, or you're exposed to products that you simply didn't know about or have frequently overlooked. It's worth a quick look just to see what they have in the least.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sampler allows me to try out different samples of foods, skincare products, and other useful items. This helps us in a way as I provide meals for my employees and having samples of foods help me determine what foods are good to purchase for them to eat during lunch and sometimes dinner if they stay late.

Pros

Provides samples of different types of items ranging from food to beauty product.
Site GUI was straightforward and sign up was easy.
Getting samples of products help me determine if they are a right fit for my team.

Cons

I rarely get samples.
Emails of sample available to try seem misleading as they go away almost immediately.
I get the wrong items sometimes.

Likelihood to Recommend

The one great thing about sampler is that it's free to use and sign up for. Getting samples to determine what to buy for my team is great. However, the bad thing about this is that the samples came very infrequence to the point that it's not that worth it to use sometimes. But when we do get the samples, it's all good.

The sampler is a great product when you want to test some products before ordering them or purchasing them in bulk. So in our day-to-day operations, there are stationery items which we need to order in bulk quantity for the office, so getting a sample of those before actually getting to make the purchase makes the experience really good. As there's less chance of quality issues or expectation mismatch, also we try the same product from different brands, ultimately comparing the quality, price, quantity and various personal preferences check and then can get the finalised items. This is how Sampler has helped me in both professional and personal life to make product purchasing decisions.

Pros

The sampler provides great quality sample products with blazingly fast delivery, ensuring we can try various products whenever we want.
I get to try new brands without wasting the whole product if I don't like using the product. So it is eco-friendly in that way by reducing chemical waste.
It helps the professionals who are in business administration responsibility, to make a perfect and apt purchase, without any miss.
One get to learn about a lot of new products, trying them and end up being loyal to the brand/product. So Sampler helps in establishing the necessary customer acquisition part for a new brand.

They needs to handle their inventory more efficiently as some of the products gets sold out in seconds and the next batch comes after a week or so.
Their notification system can also be optimised by adding more channels like through whatsapp, telegram or facebook.
They should be more in social media campaigns so that many people gets to know about the beautiful product.
This is not an area of improvement rather a suggestion, if they can build some kind of recommendation engine and recommends group of items to users, it can be very interesting.
