Too buggy and dishonest management

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Salestools was used as a drip email tool for email outreach.

Pros

  • The only differentiator, and the reason why we decided to purchase it was the automatic addition of new contacts to the drip campaign. But the feature is so buggy that you can't really count it as something Salestools does well.

Cons

  • You can't have custom fields, so forget about having customized emails other than the basic Name, Title, Company.
  • Salestools is plenty of super cool features, all (at least all the ones we used) are buggy and unusable in the end.
  • Can't have blacklisted addresses and domains.
  • Support will take days to respond, especially if you report a bug (it seems they will work extra hard to fix the bug, and then tell you that it didn't exist in the first place)
  • Virtually every other feature has bugs.

Likelihood to Recommend

I imagine that Salestools is well suited for very low value or transactional sales processes where the churn rate is high.

SalesTools is the best prospecting and auto follow-up tool available right now in the market. Nothing superior!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Salestools.io to create automatic follow-up campaigns for our clients. Usually, we use it together with a CRM pipeline and it works pretty well in a very efficient way to improve efficiency in the sales department of our clients to reduce time in following up. If you are looking for a tool to reach out to your clients, this is the right tool.

Pros

  • Create automatic follow-up processes in Pipedrive based on deals created.
  • Be able to add prospects along the way when creating deals in the CRM.
  • Be able to integrate efficiently with CRM Pipedrive.

Cons

  • The tool requires some knowledge of outbound strategies and it is not easy for everybody at the first time.
  • The service needs quite a few interactions to the full value.
  • The customer service needs a lot of improvement. They are not fast and they need to focus on the customer point of view.

Likelihood to Recommend

Salestools.io works perfectly for companies using a CRM or whatever other CRM software involving customer data. Also, Salestools.io is perfect to deal with the creation of an outreach campaign in an automatic way. You won't need to do follow-up yourself. However, it needs some training to work with it perfectly. In general is a great outbound sales tool.

We have been beta testing the new release from Salestools here at Churnback! Salestools Auto Prospector is a game changer, talking about a 10 time improvement in our demand generation team.

Pros

  • Generating new opportunities
  • Automating our Sales process
  • Accurate and up to date data!

Cons

  • The company has a global focus, their revenue numbers on companies at first was weak but recently I have seen an improvement that gets closer to D&B levels and if they can improve radically there it is a huge plus.
  • I love IT Budgets, they started to roll it out, wish I had that earlier.

Likelihood to Recommend

Salestools really helped us set up a predictable pipeline and helped us scale our sales efforts. Before we did manually prospecting looking for customers using Stripe and then researched leads and build campaigns. With the Auto Prospector® I managed to do this 100% automated; we grew our business rapidly with Salestools. No data provider is 100% accurate neither is Linkedin and I must say Live Data® from Salestools is as good as Sales Navigator.
