Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ZoomInfo to gather more contacts and accounts into our CRM to ensure our sales and marketing teams can contact the correct people. This would be infinitely more challenging without Zoom's capability. My team also uses RingLead as a data loader, and it saves countless hours of manual work by allowing us to update and load data in bulk without human error. It's an invaluable tool in our organization.

  • Provider counts and specialty data.

Cons

  • RingLead—You have to be very careful about what you update, since it's a live update tool. It's still the best tool available, hands down. You just have to be careful.

The contact enrichment feature adds missing contact info, like emails or phone numbers. It also allows us to confirm that the address information on our CRM matches what Zoom says. I wish more emails were available within the service, but what you can glean from Zoom makes marketing to the correct personas much easier.

If your instances are still small, you might be better of using more traditional ways of putting your data into good order and automate it as you do.

Currently we are using Zoominfo Operations for prospecting and Ringlead for data management such as lead routing and managing dupes. The product is super helpful to provide current information regarding contacts and also helps us to analyze our data and remove dupes as per own rules. I am responsible for managing Ringlead for removing and managing dupes

We are a big ZoomInfo shop: using Chorus AI, ZoomInfo premium enrich, and Ringlead.

ZoomInfo premium enrich helps us easily create contacts and accounts with accurate enrichment data. The chrome extension also makes bulk exporting from LinkedIn to Salesforce seamless.

We then use Ringlead to automate routing and deduplication of those contacts, accounts, and opportunities based on fairly complex round-robin logic.

Pros

Cons

  • Ringlead could benefit from sticky match functionality (e.g. when the first contact comes in on an account, all subsequent contacts will be matched to the first owner, rather than round-robined). Our previous tool, Distrbution Engine, allowed for that.

Our onboarding, support, and CSM experiences with all three ZoomInfo tools have been stellar. Ringlead especially stood out with an incredible onboarding experience.

Our engineer, [...], was an expert and helped us set up the tool and call out any limitations or potential areas of risk with how we wanted to set it up.

We meet regularly with our CSMs on each tool to learn about new product releases and dive into where we can better use the tools. Technically, the ZoomInfo suite of products gives us what we need from record creation, to enrichment, deduplication, assignment, segmentation, and scoring. We're very happy with the functionality.

ZoomInfo Operations is the new yellow pages of the internet. You're able to discover anything from contact info to business details including revenue, employee count, location. You're also able to find people in an organization and search them by title. In sales, you're constantly looking for information while prospecting that is usually private. With ZoomInfo, I am able to easily access what I need to perform my job at a high level.

You need Zoominfo Operations to be successful in a sales role. For example, if you are looking for a client who has an intent of buying marketing in the past 30 days, you are able to search for this type of person within your industry, geography, and by title. It takes the work out of prospecting.

We leverage ZoomInfo Operations to boost our marketing and sales analytics process by integrating high quality B2B data into our CRM. Our mainly focus on lead gen , campaign tracking , pipeline. We also target the accounts on the basis of employee size , revenue and other factors. Its really helpful to get the accurate data and also getting the high chances of conversion.

As I have personally used ZoomInfo Operations for the last 2 years , Its a really good tool like if you get a name of any lead by referral , Ex as his name and company name , you can search it on ZoomInfo Operations, you will get more information about that lead i.e. name , company name , email , phone , location etc. In the same case sometimes , you didn't find anything.

ZoomInfo Operations help considerably with integration of data, and taking what we have in our CRM to the next level. The data import/export tools they offer allow us to mesh or extrapolate from the data we've collected, which in database - lead generation is extremely valuable, as well as grading already qualified leads. We use both Operations and Sales, and they work together great! It addresses taking massive amounts of prospects in daily, allowing thousands of employees to find what they need faster.

  • Import/export of data.
  • Enriching and/or grading of data for release to sales and operations.
  • Automation of data, and data management.

Cons

  • Lower pricing tier, some other zoom products have freemium versions which would be nice
  • Faster import/export time for data, depending on the size of the data, it may take close to more than a few minutes.
  • Merging data does not always report 100% of data merged.

Likelihood to Recommend

ZoomInfo takes our thousands of leads, and ones we don't have, and allows us to easily import this data and mesh it with our CRM, along with our other complimentary Zoom Products. It has really cut down time for our sales team from trying to find which leads are best, and allows our marketing team to handle some background work to help acquisition.

Our Sales team loves the product and as a user myself, I am able to seek out details and information that benefits the requests from our sales leaders. The OS is stable and has really easy-to-use functionality along with it is detailed. The price is also very reasonable along with the seats are easy to manage as we have a lot of turnover within our organization. The account team is also there for questions and also there is a lot of documentation for the application - so if you have questions just do some simple searching and you will find what you are looking for.

The application is one that I would highly recommend for your sales team as they are able to seek out information that they would not normally be able to obtain through something like salesforce or other applications. ZoomInfo for sure is the leader in my opinion in this area and I love the releases and additional features that they are always releasing.
