What is ReadySetAuction?
ReadySetAuction is a cloud-based software designed specifically for non-profit organizations to manage and run various types of fundraising auctions including silent, live, mobile, and online. The platform enables the staff and volunteers of non-profits to independently set-up their events at an affordable cost while providing all major functions necessary to run a successful fundraiser auction.
The software features tools that aid in tracking attendees, donations of goods and services, catalogs creation, sponsorships management, guest seating plans, mobile bidding capabilities as well as check-out process management. ReadySetAuction aims to ensure its users can create custom event websites for receiving donations with up to 50 committee staff members added to the roster for individual account setup. Administrators are granted control over each user's access level within the ReadySetAuction Control Center.
Winning bidders receive immediate notification via email or SMS text message when they have been outbid or won using one of three available bidding strategies: standard bidding, robot-assisted bidding or win-it-now bidding. Additionally, guests' credit card information can be securely captured during check-in making it easy for them to collect their winnings after an auction. ReadySetAuction hopes its customers will take advantage of the convenience provided by automatically emailing receipts which contain details such as the organization's tax ID number along with a list detailing won/purchased items indicating their value and price thus saving time and reducing paper usage.
