Project Manager in Professional Services at N&T Construction Co. Inc. (11-50 employees employees)
Pros
Photo management. Construction is a risky business, and there is no better way to document, with timestamped photo documentation, the completed work on the job.
Timesheets. Seeing the daily/weekly/monthly work hour graphs and curves helps us to understand what has been taking place on this job site.
SIMPLE SIMPLE SIMPLE. Absolutely no learning curve. This is a huge plus.
Cons
None.
Return on Investment
Raken is improving communication from the field to the office.
It's improving our daily job site documentation.
It has improved our timesheet processes, and simplified them.

Pros
Keep track of daily reporting
Send reports and updates to other members of the project
Production tracking

Sometimes the app will run slow or crash on the guys in the field. It doesn't happen too often though.
An easier way to download all project Daily Reports at one time.

Project Manager in Engineering (201-500 employees employees)
Pros
Great iPhone application - The application makes reporting and adding photos very easy.
It's easy to navigate different days and reports. Or to find keywords or subcontractors and when they performed work.
Cons
I hear some feedback from our field team that occasionally the application is slow or crashes on their devices.
Return on Investment
Raken definitely saves costly superintendent time and can be used as a tool to review dates, weather, etc. if a case is opened or an issue comes up that needs to be checked back on.
Raken is only as good as the data inputted into it. If your team does not use all of the functions you don't get a good product.
