IncentivizedUse Cases and Deployment Scope
We are a lean group of Engineers and Operators that use Rafay to manage the lifecycle of Kubernetes deployments in the cloud. Rafay helps us minimize the operational burden on our teams for managing Kubernetes. We manage a central shared EKS cluster in AWS as well as deploy smaller EKS clusters for some end users via the Rafay control plane.
Pros
- Rafay acts more like a partner than just another vendor
- Rafay goes above and beyond expectations to meet our needs/requirements
- Rafay is very flexible in the use cases they are willing to support
Cons
- Seamless Single Sign-On Integration
- Use of a jumpstation to bootstrap a new EKS cluster deployment
- Some information in the UI does not auto populate
- UI can be enhanced a bit
Likelihood to Recommend
Rafay is well suited for managing K8 deployments in on-prem deployments as well as AWS. Their support for GKE seems a bit limited.
