Quizizz is frustrating to modify

Rating: 2 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use the quizzes in EFL and German classes at the middle-school and high-school level.

Pros

  • It has a large library of already-made quizzes that can be searched fairly easily.
  • It has side-by-side views of what the students see and what the teacher sees.

Cons

  • Modifying existing quizzes often simply does not work: the system looks up when I try to add new items.
  • Quizizz has no easily discovered way to change titles of quizzes.

Likelihood to Recommend

Reviewing vocabulary or grammar points -- good for competitive classes.

  • everything is good for the most part
  • wouldn't change a thing

Quizzez is well suited for out specific needs because to the polls and the quiz part of the product we use the polls to reach out about existing or new issues that the company is needing an answer or feedback on. the quiz part of the product comes in hand for a variety of different needs such as learning new products and staying up to date on new marketing material. there are other products for teachers schools and districts as we do not needs any of those.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Quizizz in my elementary and middle school math and science classes. This program is graded for the teacher, gives immediate feedback to the students, has excellent report options, and individual results can be shared with parents via email. As a teacher, all of these are important!

Pros

  • Excellent report options.
  • LMS platform aligned.
  • Parent contact option.
  • Synced with other programs my school currently uses.

Cons

  • Individual data bank of scores and past assignments.
  • Remediation tool.

Likelihood to Recommend

Quizizz is very well suited for my elementary and middle school-aged students. It is fast-paced, competitive, and keeps their attention. I would not think it would be as well implemented in lower (k-2) grades. I love the fact that it is aligned with Generation Genius, which is another site I use for instruction.

Quizizz IZ the engagement platform to choose!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Quizizz to answer simple questions or rate/scale different things. It's one of the best survey tools and is very user-friendly. For example, to get feedback on new information or infographics we are considering using. Our research and data analytics team find them particularly useful. I am not sure how many departments currently use it, so far only for small team feedback where we can skip meetings for folks to provide feedback in their own time.

Pros

  • Visuals and clear buttons/tools
  • Comparison with other users
  • Engaging platform

Cons

  • Sometimes hard to find features
  • A little complex to design quizzes
  • More templates available

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for: Check learning for groups Education and presentations Self-paced learning Easy polls and questions for groups Easy participation from anywhere (many devices available) Training or employee orientations Not well suited for: Material with a LOT of information or very dense Material that needs a lot of time to digest
