ApexSQl by Quest is well suited in situation where we need to manage complex databases in an organization as it helps in increasing the efficiency of DBAs such as in database inventory, backup and restoration process of database, disaster recovery model etc. ApexSQL by Quest is less appropriate in small organization where database size is very less.

ApexSQL streamslines and automate DBMS in no time, helps in implementing the auditing and compliance requirements and data migration and it also help in building scalable application and secure application like when we develop application using Apex SQL, it will become very secure automatically due to its build in features and also building small application and deployment of code is very easy

When you have very large data size sometimes it run a bit slow.

As a Database Administrator, I am in the need to write and mantain queries and scripts. Having this tool, has made my life easier, because I just need to type a few letters and I can have a whole script template ready, just worrying for what is important for my job. Also, there are a lot of tips and useful tools, making my job easier.
