As part of the design team, I work with Procore under the general contractor for construction administration services. During construction, we used Procore for submittal reviews, RFI responses, meeting minutes, and notes, as well as to receive and download them, to name a few.
Pros
I can add recipients to notifications that go out for submittals and RFIs—not putting it into my court, but I can keep track of what is being sent and responded to.
Emails of when something has been put into my court and reminders of things in my court.
files system that is easy to follow.
Cons
Due back dates on submittals and RFIs: The contractor can put a date that is already past or within 24 hours so that I can notice something in my court and also notice that I am late within the same day.
You are unable to see things like meeting notes unless you are specifically given approval from the GC, and the GC often forgets to give access to the full design team.
Can be a bit overwhelming when looking back for a specific submittal or RFI.

Great for bigger projects. It is a bit overdone for smaller projects, but still helpful.
Procore helps me daily on my large scale construction projects. We specifically track architectural supplemental info and for communicating with subcontractors. My favorite feature is the ability to create drawing sets that automatically add themselves to the current Plans in a smart and realistic way. Procore tracks exactly what page is being replaced automatically - and saves us many headaches.
Pros
Tracking
Workflow
Team Communication
Interdepartmental Communication
External Business Communication
Cons
Better document loading
More intuitive UI
Ability to copy submittals from one job over to another

Procore is great for large scale projects. For smaller projects I would think something like Building Connected is better.
I used Procore for a renowned construction client project, and it was quite good at managing the entire project. The client recommended it to us, and they were on point. We liked their system and ease of process.
Pros
Their Ui is user-friendly.
Customer support seems good.
The integration system and capacity were nice.
Cons
The main bit is cost.
It is a bit complex when it comes to reporting.
The notifications from them are too much.

While the software is powerful, there is a steep learning curve you might observe in the early days, but overall, I think they keep improving and take feedback positively, too.
I've assisted a partner in configuring and setting its first integrations with Procore. It helped our startup to efficiently manage the budgeting and insights with the same provider (Procore). It saved us time, planning, and investment in maintaining individual instances for each requirement.
Pros
Budget management in a single dashboard.
AI support when writing queries.
Native support for graphics that are connected to Procore databases.
Cons
Mobile dashboard has some room for improvement regarding the UI.

It’s more suited for a large project as it gives insights daily logs a perfect tool for managing a huge project. For a small project with a lesser duration it maybe not that helpful

Procore, A wonderful tool for the construction industry. We can easily communicate our clash issues with the sub-Trade contractor. With this, we can install the addins of procore for our primary software like Revit and navisworks. We can track our Clash issues and make an approval hierarchy and close it procore itself with final approval from authorities.

This program can be applied to almost any size project, whether it's a small retrofit to a large-scale new construction build. Training and use of the program are relatively straightforward and user intuitive. There are also a number of support resources and customer support available for issues that do arise.
I use Procore for my daily coordination with my General Contractor. I'm finishing up a high rise building which was coordinated through Procore for the last 3 years. I get submittal and RFI emails notifying me of outstanding questions the contractor has. Submittals are neatly organized by Spec Sections and can be filtered in various ways to find things. The UI can be intimating at first but you get used to it pretty quickly. If you need to forward and/or reassign the submittal to another party the functionality is built into the software. RFI's are set up in a similar manner which makes it easy to transition back and forth between these and submittals. All Drawings the project may have are archived online and can be easily accessed. What's nice is that Procore catalogs all iterations of a drawing which allows seamless access to see the history of changes. All the functionality talked about here can be accessed through the main software, the online site, and the app on iOS or Android.
Pros
Document management.
RFI and submittal coordination.
Punch lists and observations.
Specification management.
Cons
More seamless UI.
Better search functionality.
Warnings about software changes ahead of time.

Procore is great for construction project management. It's tailored specifically for contractors and design professionals. A owner of a project can also be integrated into the software but might have trouble navigating around. While Procore can be used for other non construction projects you'd only be able to use only a fraction of the capability of the software and should probably use sometime more simple.
