I will recommend Vasion Print if you’re dealing with a lot of printers and remote users—it made our lives easier and it takes the IT team out of basic setups and lets users handle things on their own. Honestly, it solved a bunch of annoying issues we used to deal with daily.
Easy printer identification lets users add, remove, or upgrade printers without IT support. It also switches printer IP schemes for user convenience. It is easy for the end user to set up the printer they want to look for. Customer service is helpful.

Cons
Maps for printers were hardest.

It can be used in both Mac and PC. Their customer service is really good and you can also easily update Vasion Print, overall it is really useful.
We frequently have staff that travel from office to office and need printer access at each location. A fair amount of our IT tickets went to installing simple printer drivers. This program allows our users to set up new printers themselves without having to send in an IT ticket and wait for us to have time. It's also great that we can more easily remotely monitor printers.
Pros
Printer setup
Printer management
Ease of use for users
Cons
Setup requirements
Login process
Likelihood to Recommend
If you work with only one printer in one location, or do not have install restrictions for your users, then this might not be super useful. However, it you operate multiple printers, need to manually install printers every time, or have multiple field offices that need to be managed remotely, this would be a very helpful resource for you.
We have multiple offices across the US and maintaining print servers in each one was an administrative nightmare!
PrinterLogic solved our problem! With their great cloud-based interface, client app and a central repository for printer profiles and drivers, it makes printer/copier administration a breeze.
For end users, great features like a graphical floor map with printer icons allow employees who visit other offices to locate and connect to a device they need to use!
Pros
Innovation with customer facing interface
Ease of use.
Great customer service and response
Cons
An easier way to streamline drivers after importing from print servers
More reporting options
Easier setup for secure printing features
Likelihood to Recommend
As stated before, PrinterLogic is well suited for IT support to assist end-users with printer and copier installations and administration.
One user can travel from a city, say Baltimore, to Memphis and pull up a floor map and click on a printer icon near where they are sitting to install that printer on their laptop. It doesn't get easier than that.
When printers get replaced or upgraded, there is only one place that IT has to go to update a driver, or any other pertinent information for the new device and then that change gets pushed to each client. Easy!
Allows our firm to deploy printers easily and efficiently without using print servers. Not having to depend on print servers means we no longer have to worry about a print server crashing and bringing down our firm's ability to print. Another key feature is the ability to centralize drivers and only allow those drivers that we want users to have on their workstation.
Pros
Printer deployment
Centralized driver repository
User friendly interface
Cloud based web interface
Cons
I would like for Vasion Print to support Visio format for floor maps
Likelihood to Recommend
Any business that relies heavily on printing and wants to break away from print servers and the resources they consume.
We use Vasion Print as a replacement for traditional Windows print servers. I was in charge of selecting and implementing it, and I managed it. Our main goal was to get away from managing on-prem Windows print servers. Vasion Print allowed us to accomplish that goal very easily and included several nice additional features.
Pros
Easy to implement.
Easy to manage.
Easy for end users to navigate.
Nice modern cloud-based printing solution.
Cons
It is not a criticism of the solution but a recommendation. Understand how profiles work before you roll out.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is a great modern alternative to on-prem Windows print servers. It is straightforward to implement and manage and easy for end users to navigate. It is cloud-based, so internet access is needed but not constantly required after implementation. The only other use case that might not work well is if you have a very high number of printers, although they might have a new licensing model based on users, so this might not be as much of a factor now.
deploying printers and changes to printers to many computers for multiple clients. It saves a lot of time rather than manually deploying printers to new computers or when changing printer settings and having to deploy to every computer individually. Our clients are about 20-30 users. Theres about 3 printers in each location.
Pros
printer deployment
deploying changes to print queues
printer managment
Cons
billing in AUD
tracking print jobs
Likelihood to Recommend
we run an AYCE MSP, so every bit of time saved is a good thing. Vasion Print allows us to save a lot of time for clients that like to move around, change printers or have users that move between sites frequently. The customers that dont move around much, its useful for inital deployment of a printer, but then after that, it doesnt make sense to keep using PL for them as we keep paying monthly for the printer queue but really its not doing anything.
Vasion Print has worked great and has solved a lot of headaches that we had with our and our customer's printers prior. We plan to keep deploying this to clients as an easy printing solution. Out of all the vendors and applications we've viewed in the past, we've never had a product work so seamlessly right off the bat. We would highly recommend others look into this solution as well.
Pros
Printing off network.
Printing to multiple printers through a network.
Ease of driver installation/deployment.
Cons
There's a lot going on which can be overwhelming but isn't a horrible thing.
Likelihood to Recommend
I love the product it's worked great for easy deployment to ourselves and our clients and is super easy to re-add if you ever needed too. I can't say enough good things, and we've only scratched the service of all the features they offer.
