Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It has been used as part of managing a web hosting platform for websites. Plesk has helped make administration of more complex tasks within a hosting environment far more easier. Anything from changing mail records through to implementing various CMS platforms has been a snap with Plesk.

Pros

Implementing various packages/systems
Managing hosting settings from a GUI interface
Monitoring the hosting environment for any issues

Cons

Interface Improvement: It is a bit hard to find specific functions
Additional integration with third party services would be great
categorization of services to make management easier

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Plesk allowed our organization to help manage our servers with an intuitive user interface that grew along with us. The platform has a large number of integrations and extensions that can bring in a number of different tasks under one roof. The ability to house our entire platform together in one system has saved us time and money.

Pros

House server management platform all in one system.
Growth and scalability.
Time savings and reducing inefficiencies.

Cons

The system can get a bit cluttered if there are too many integrations set up at once.
Implementation took longer than expected.
Training and adoption could use some improvement.

Likelihood to Recommend

Plesk is well-suited when needing to bring in multiple systems and functionality into one platform to help reduce inefficiencies and create continuity throughout the organization. It may not be as useful for large organizations with multiple departments that are unable to work seamlessly together but for a growing organization like ours, it was perfect.
