time. Plus, the use of extensions adds lots of features.
We wanted a user-friendly alternative to the famous cPanel for a web server. It is easier to use and more intuitive, and the dashboard is modern. There are a handful of valuable integrations, for example, an SEO tool kit and built-in backup functionality.
We can administer WordPress websites, themes and plugins from the dashboard without going into the WordPress backend.

Database Manager
Plugin Manager
Application Manager
Cons
Better integration with independent WAF tools like Wordfence
Create a simple function for staging sites and to push from staging to live
Provide function to back-up DNS settings before making changes

Plesk is a popular control panel for managing VPS or Dedicated servers. It is designed for anyone, regardless of their level of experience and has a user-friendly interface. In addition to this, Plesk also has a large number of extensions so that users can edit and modify their servers to their wants and needs. However, it does not support WHM

Pros
Server management.
Web security.

The occasional "bad update" has come through and broken things.

Plesk is really well suited for novices and experts alike. If you're not a person that speaks Linux, networking, or internet protocols - Plesk is perfect for you because it does the back-end work for you.
Sometimes, however, Plesk can be TOO simple and certain high-level tasks or extremely detailed/peculiar use cases can be difficult to maintain with Plesk. For the most part… anything you need to do can be handled by Plesk.
Plesk makes it possible for me to retain better control over my websites. Using specific tools and services, like WordPress Toolkit, I can set up my websites to automatically update templates, plugins, and the CMS system - all in one space! Instead of being forced to log in to each and every website to update templates, plugins, and the CMS, I can update ALL my websites, at one time with a few minor strokes...all from Plesk. These features can be automated to run on a timed schedule, or they can be initiated manually. I love this feature, as it really frees up my time so I can focus on creating and providing website content! I'm able to retain better control of my websites and how they operate, using the Plesk website control panel management system. This frees up my time and allows me to take care of other business activities that need my attention.
Pros
Automatically update the CMS, plugins, and templates of all your websites, depending on your CMS, all at the same time, with just a few strokes of your keyboard.
Enables one to set up a schedule to back up your websites, automatically, and easily download/save the backup files off-site, for safety.
Makes it easy for users to use a backup file to reinstall a website, with just a few strokes of the keyboard. Excellent service!
Cons
Plesk needs to add more free security options (like spam protection, SSL services, etc.) to their control panel, for the protection of a user's website.
It would be nice to have access to the Joomla Toolkit for free.
Plesk needs to update its database options. They only go up to MariaDB 5.5.68, and several content management systems now require MariaDB 10.2.29, opening up a website to security issues.
Likelihood to Recommend
Plesk is well-suited for website creators who have been developing websites on a regular basis. If one is new to website development, Plesk could be a bit confusing and difficult to navigate. However, if one has experience on another type of platform, like CP (Control Panel) which is used by other web hosts out there, then it will be much easier to navigate the Plesk panel. Keep in mind there is definitely a learning curve, as Plesk really is quite different. Overall, new users will learn to love the ability to have more control over their websites.
