“There are some great plug-ins, but you only get them for free if you pay the annual "maintenance" fee of $200. … I've looked at quite a few takeoff packages, but settled on PlanSwift for a) value for money, b) compatibility with Excel.”

“However, it is much more expensive.
We use PlanSwift on a daily basis and have done so for more than 10 years. … However, it is much more expensive.
Cloud-based takeoff software -- this kind of software is difficult for me to use because of how slow the pages load and navigate.”
