Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are a production studio that works with planned to offer a wide range of custom media production services to their corporate enterprise clientele. Users typically engage with us directly on the platform messaging board when they are looking for anything custom, which we have found to be a seamless experience to date.

Pros

Instantly connects corporate planners to a wide variety of event based resources
Provides immersive venue tours via their software, which is most helpful for guest experience mapping
Admin and financial management in the events world - made easy!

Cons

Listings require more customization functionality to allow vendors to create unique listings that will truly stand out.

Planned is well suited when you are stuck for ideas and require creative collaboration from a network of unique vendors.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Planned helps cut through the noise for companies and individuals searching for the best, most dynamic, and reliable event industry vendors while helping vendors reach the right target clients. We've had a great experience meeting brands in search of virtual DJ services.

Pros

Hands-on oversight of execution of a virtual event and client success management
Connecting event industry professionals with companies in need of their services
Highlighting services that an event industry professional or company offers

Cons

Making the platform/software more functional overall so the majority of negotiating/contracting/invoicing can easily happen all in one place.
Drawing in more leads for vendors, or offering support to vendors to teach them how to attract more leads. We don't see much traffic to our listing at all.
Making it simpler for companies to do business together internationally. We had some issues with fees getting eaten up from converting currencies and went back and forth for a while trying to figure out how we'd accept payment from a client.
Streamlining communication overall and making it possible for multiple team members to get email notifications about communication happening on the platform.

Likelihood to Recommend

Planned is great for vendors who have both in-person and virtual event services to offer. You can get exposure to other markets and industries, win new business, and grow your skills. Planned is best for vendors who already have a lot of experience in the event industry.

Planned is used across the whole company as our event planner and is a preferred vendor. Planned solves all sourcing issues and gets the best prices and value.

Pros

Offers best suppliers
One stop planner
Quick and great service

Cons

The platform can use some tweaking (i.e.: when reserving hotels, adding guest rooms, including meeting rooms - instead of just spaces, which can be confusing when searching).

Likelihood to Recommend

Planned is a solution for all types of events, from restaurants to meetings. A++++
