Pixelied - A fast and easy Online Photo Editor And Graphic Design Tool
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
Pixelied is a powerful and easy-to-use online design tool for making graphics. It's mostly what I use to make thumbnails for my YouTube videos, posters, and ads for social media. Even though I'm very good at using high-end, advanced image and graphics editors like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, I don't always need a long editing process to get my final image designs. I need quick results and fast drag-and-drop image editing tools that don't use up too much of my computer's CPU processing power. This is especially important for social media updates. I also need a variety of layouts and ready-made templates, so I don't have to start from scratch. And this is exactly why Pixelied is useful. The interface is quick, almost as fast as Canva. The functions and features are easy for even beginners to understand and use. The templates are neatly organized by different social media platforms, themes, deliverable sizes, dimensions, and resolutions. Pixelied has a built-in library of stock images and vector elements with a wide range of options in many different categories. I found a lot of useful vector elements, backgrounds, and stock photos that are related to my niche, which is media and filmmaking. By combining these stock library materials with the premade templates, I've been able to develop and deliver a large number of excellent poster and advertisement designs in a very brief period of time with minimal effort.
Pros
- Create posters for social media promotional and commercial ads.
- Design banners, visual components, and posters for websites and mobile applications.
- Create thumbnails, end screens, intro and outro animations, and graphics for YouTube.
- For social media, create motivational and inspiring posters and visual stories with quotations and text.
Cons
- Performance can become sluggish, particularly when adding new photos or vector elements to the layout design.
- Pixelied can incorporate a broader assortment of creative stock assets, similar to Canva.
- The options for modifying the composition's color scheme, adding customized elements, and personalizing the brand can be enhanced.
- The basic options for moving, scaling, and rearranging layers and backgrounds should be accessible by right-clicking in the composition itself rather than through tool sets in the upper right sidebar.
Likelihood to Recommend
Pixelied is an online graphic design suite that makes it easy to create posters, ads, and branded designs for blogs, social media, and other publishing platforms. I am utilizing Pixelied to promote my social media accounts and to get thumbnails created for my YouTube channel. I use the photo filters to adjust the color of my photos, the mockup generator to piece together images with different backdrops, and the stock images and vector elements collection to add more detail and dimension to my designs. The templates allow me to create banners, image posters, and quotes. I found it easy to use because I could edit my own content without having to learn advanced design features. The templates helped me get started quickly and had everything I needed, from fonts down to icons. The photo filters were fun—they gave me an idea of how photos would look with different colors or patterns applied before I actually used them on my final designs. The only thing I didn't like about this tool was that adding images could slow down a layout if there were too many of them at once (like when you're trying to make a collage).
