Recommendations
Users frequently advise thoroughly learning Percolate to take full advantage of its numerous features that simplify tasks. They recommend investing time in the analytics tool, which might be challenging at first but proves invaluable once a customized dashboard is established.
Another common recommendation is to involve the IT team during transition or onboarding. Users suggest close collaboration with Percolate's engineering team and careful workflow mapping before committing to a contract due to certain software limitations.
Many users also propose exploring alternative options like Sprout or Hubspot combined with quality Photoshop capabilities and stock image subscriptions. They recommend using another tool for Instagram posting as Percolate lacks this functionality.
It is the best software I have used for all my clients' digital marketing strategies. It is very complete as it helps with campaign planning and metric and statistical reporting for all social networks. You can manage the content of all social networks easily.
Pros
You can schedule all the planning done for each social network, with the date and time you want to publish, without any inconvenience.
It has many templates of campaigns and content for social networks, which facilitates the work and the workload of designers and community managers.
The management of the marketing campaign is very efficient, as it monitors the progress, performance, and progress of the campaign also presents a complete statistical report that helps to improve the plans and strategies used.
Cons
It is not very intuitive, so you have to spend a few hours to know in-depth all its functions and to get the most out of the platform.
I get lost with the mobile version, it is very complicated to see all its functions, no matter what mobile device you are using, plus it takes a while to load the application and it is very difficult to manage for that reason.
I had some problems uploading videos on Instagram, I spent a lot of time getting the video to load and be saved for later publication.
Likelihood to Recommend
Very useful for the management, planning, and programming of all social networks, as well as marketing campaigns. One of the best tools to make life easier for community managers and automate daily tasks such as content publishing. It is my favorite for managing my clients' networks.
Percolate was used by all global social media marketing teams and customer support agents within a specific brand at my organization. The other part of the organization was using a different scheduling/ listening platform that I prefer and had our entire company shift to. We used it to schedule social media content/ outline calendars, review social data and handle community management.
Pros
Calendar scheduling was okay. Not very different from other tools.
Analytics exists. Data was hard to find, but there was the ability to create custom metrics.
The people at the company seemed nice.
Cons
Data is a mess. So unreliable. Takes so much time to create a concrete report.
There is no ability to export anything. No calendar PDFs, no data Excel sheets, nothing.
No paid management functionality.
Hated their listening tool abilities relative to other tools I've used.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's cheaper than other tools, but you pay for what you get. Do not recommend unless you're a smaller company or have a lower budget and just need to get started in having a more organized tool for scheduling, data, etc.
