Use Cases and Deployment Scope

AVOID PEPPERJAM ASCEND!!! I am a current user. A company that I am affiliated with switched to Pepperjam Ascend, and I assumed the first couple of months would be bumpy but then get better.. It hasn't, in my opinion, not even a little. I constantly have missed payments, holds on payments, and my sales have dropped down to less than a 1/3 of what they were before!! The links never track back to me, customer service NEVER responds, NEVER! I am so frustrated with their horrific customer service that I have sent multiple emails begging the company I am an affiliate of to please cancel their contract because this company is ruining my experience. I am currently waiting on a payment from JANUARY!! It's March! I am SOOOOO OVER Pepperjam Ascend!

Cons

The dashboard/platform is the furthest thing from user-friendly. It looks like a high school student with zero experience designed it in excel and hoped for the best with the results.
Reports are hit and miss. They may load, they may not! It's ridiculous, in my opinion.
No mobile options whatsoever, everything has to be desktop. It's 2022, they need to catch up!

Likelihood to Recommend

There is no place where Pepperjam Ascend is well suited. The company needs to throw itself away and start over with all new everything!

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Pepperjam Ascend for several of our clients as our affiliate network. We have a wide range of clients and only a few are interested in affiliate marketing. This allows us to create programs for individual clients. Within our marketing team, two team members actively work within the Pepperjam Ascend interface.

Pros

Lots of coupon sites.
Enables different tiers of commissions.
Can blast out newsletters to your network.

Cons

The UI is awful.
Publishers are mostly coupon sites.
Confusing layout of the platform.

Likelihood to Recommend

For our business, affiliate marketing is by far the lowest ROI marketing channel. If you're looking to get products, brands, and offers listed on coupon sites, Pepperjam Ascend is a great tool. If you're looking to engage with influencers or drive sales without giving away margin, Pepperjam Ascend is likely not for you.
