I have a low rating due to lack of customer service and help received. I have been struggling to get answers and assistance for problems that I am now at the point of barely reaching out due to the fact I know I wont receive help.
We utilize multiple modules from Paylocity, from the basic HR functions to payroll, timekeeping, paid time off, expenses, performance and goal setting, internal intranet functions, Onboarding, and we connect to a partner for benefits enrollment via Single Sign-on integration.
Pros
Timekeeping, and mobile functionality with job costing are easy for employees to use
Payroll functionality is easy to set-up and manage
Setting KPI's, and building performance forms for mid-years and annual appraisals is also easy to set-up and administer
Cons
The performance module is easy to use, but it would be nice if there were more robust views including ability for 2nd level managers to review/approve before they go to employees
The compensation module is a bit tricky and we have not had success utilizing this
more robust content offering in the LMS
Likelihood to Recommend
It has been easy to roll-out, and add on modules and additional companies within our complex multi-employer structure

tracking timecards, personnel information, company announcements, payroll, and working on more!
It helps bring multiple business/personnel needs into one location. Versus a separate time card app, payroll app, etc.
Pros
Time Tracking
Payroll Tracking and Reporting
Company Outreach (Community, announcements, etc)
Onboarding (Packets, all in one place)
Cons
HR and Tax forms: major issues this year with ACA reporting
integrations: "360" doesn't always truly mean this
Account management: clear when there's a lot of customers having issues because response time is much slower than ideal.

for time, payroll, and employee-management- fantastic all aroundfor benefits, 3rd party integrations/implementations- the fees stack up, and more than not, they are 180 integration or not a "true' 360 integration.Seems like once we've gotten through implementation, and need future assistance, answers happen slower and more directing to ask other people when it's something specifically- Paylocity's responsibility. 1095 reporting information- was told to ask our broker for issues but it was how Paylocity had setup our plans (incorrectly) initially that resulting in an issue.Took 2+ weeks to get help from our account manager on this, was working with other account managers who couldn't helpAccount managers don't have away messages- or even upcoming availability so when we reach out and don't hear from them for days and keep following up, we have no idea what's going on.

We use Paylocity as our HRIS platform. The system has an easy integration process with other platforms such as in our situation when it came to sharing information on employee benefits. The support team were able to understand what was needed and follow up accordingly.
Pros
LMS systems
HR & Payroll
Walkthrough Guides
Cons
Benefits essentials did not fully capture enrollments of employees causing some reporting errors. It has room for improvement.
Helping new start-up companies with compliance issues and taxes.
Having a single point of contact versus just a call-in number.
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited for small-business owners who have to run payroll for salaried employees but can become a bit complicated when the employers start hiring hourly workers and there is the integration of timekeeping systems and the many features involved in that process can become overwhelming to new start-up companies.

We use the Paylocity platform for HR & Payroll, Learning, Onboarding, Recruiting, Community, Spending accounts, COBRA management, Time & Labor, EE/Employer Taxes, Performance reviews, and PTO management. We also use Paylocity to connect with our 401k provider and Employee Navigator. We use the Paylocity phone application for field employees to clock in/out.
Pros
Ease of payroll processing.
Knowledge base.
Knowledgeable employees or quick to find answers.
Cons
Security roles are becoming easier yet still difficult to navigate.
Expand Onboarding into Orientation and be able to set milestones or triggers for the completion of tasks.

Seeing constant upgrades or additions is a positive. Companies that use billable employees get tricky. Information that goes on a timecard should be easily adjustable.
I was recently hired by a company which was using Paylocity for its payroll. I came from a company which was utilizing ADP. I immediately preferred Paylocity to ADP. I found it user-friendly, ease on the eyes, and well-structured. Within a week on the system, I was well on my way to understanding how the software "thought" and quickly processing payroll changes and weekly payroll.
Pros
reports
leaves of absence
master changes
Cons
create ability to run reports of employee's interests from Community
determine who and how many has downloaded the Paylocity app
add more than one level of approval for time off requests
Likelihood to Recommend
Weekly payroll reports, configuring employee groups for access to their team members, T&L Quick view to see which team members have missing punches, Weekly Summary of Hours report for one-stop shopping of hours and days worked per week.

In my prior position as payroll administrator we used WebPay with WebTime to process payroll for hourly, weekly, and salary semi-monthly payroll for the corporate and field offices.
Pros
Processing payroll for 900+ employees became a lot quicker with Paylocity; once time was approved by managers you imported the batch and processed.
Entering data was very easy and user friendly
Uploading employee paperwork into their profile is the best
Cons
Maybe some improvement on the badge number situation. If possible, Paylocity could work on something so that when you enter a termination date the badge number goes back to the employee number automatically
Setting up security roles for reports was a little challenging, it works, but took some time
Likelihood to Recommend
I would definitely recommend Paylocity because of its ease, no matter where you are. If you have a computer, you can approve timecards or process payroll.
