We use it for employees to be able to put through work expenses and expense reports through to our accounting team
Pros
breakdown of your expenses
reviewing the history of an expense report
searching for expenses
Cons
it is a bit hard to navigate on the employee end - find it hard to see what area I should be in to submit a report
would love to have steps that appear to show what needs to be done to submit a report

It works well for our sized company (>500) to add expenses and be covered and reimbursed quickly. Our accounting team can see the expenses easily as well

We use Paylocity for payroll, performance management and we integrate the payroll with NetSuite. All payroll expenses and cash out is automatically synced. We also use Paylocity to manage our internal training content.
Pros
GL Integration - once set up it works perfectly
Payroll process - its easy and works
Performance management - an easy to use integrated tool
Cons
The report writer is not super intuitive.
There are some off items with an admin also needing to have a user account. It would be nice to have just one user account that is also an admin.
Likelihood to Recommend
It works well, no gimmicks, little frill, we just need to pay people on time and effectively, this does that.

At our organization, Paylocity is our HRIS platform. We use it for the entire employee lifecycle. This includes everything from recruiting and onboarding to payroll, benefits administration, time and attendance, and compliance reporting. It serves as the single source of truth for employee data, which keeps HR, managers, and employees aligned and reduces duplicate entry. It supports our day-to-day operations allowing us to spend more time on engagement and development rather than manual tasks.
Pros
Performance Review Management
Employee Lifecycle
Reports
Cons
Allowing Performance Reviews to be auto-scheduled and canceled if an employee terminates.
Allowing employee information to mass-downloaded in the event of a divestiture.
Likelihood to Recommend
For routine tasks such as address changes, pay-stub access, W-2 downloads, PTO requests, Paylocity does its job. Managers approve time off and view team data without emailing HR, and employees update their own profiles, reducing back-and-forth and errors.

I have been using Paylocity since I founded my company in 2018, after previously using three other vendors at my previous companies—great overall experience. The features I like the most are the improved interface, the integrations with recruiting, and the external integrations with QuickBooks, 401(k) plans, and other benefits managers, including Employer Navigator.
Pros
Facilitated account setup.
Payroll runs.
Quickbooks integrations.
401(k) integration.
External benefits manager.
Cons
Simplicity of Quickbooks integration management and training.
Clarity of pricing and invoicing.
Likelihood to Recommend
Suitable for individuals familiar with HR roles who seek a solution that integrates seamlessly with other business tools, including accounting and benefits management. It can grow with the organization by adding on modules for recruiting, onboarding, and training.

I would highly recommend Airbase. It has been very easy to use and easy to get up to speed with. I have used other expensing tools in the past and Airbase has been one of the best!
