We use Paylocity to manage timecards, time off, process payroll, onboard employees, manage performance, and maintain employee records. We use the entire onboarding module, and it helps a lot. 95% of candidates start with all of their onboarding paperwork completed! Additionally, Paylocity connects to our benefits portal, making open enrollment a breeze!

I have used many payroll systems, including ADP (several versions), Ultipro (now UKG), Kronos (also now UKG), Paycom, Workday, and even PIDMS (so old it had a black screen!), and I think Paylocity is the best! I have found it to be the most user-friendly, and it really makes a difference to my team.
We use Paylocity for payroll purposes, including Employee HR information and quarterly filings. Paylocity services provide peace of mind, knowing everything is done correctly and on time. Paylocity is easy to use, and their service team is very quick to respond if I need help with anything from voiding and reissuing to setting up direct deposit.
Pros
Customer Service.
Ease of Use.
Changing the website for ease of use.

General help questions could be easier to access.
Chat Feature isn't active and that would be a great tool.

Paylocity is very easy to use. Whenever there is an issue, they quickly respond and help us correct it if needed. We do not use them for timesheet management; however, we may look into that in the future as we become more of a paperless company.

We switched from another payroll provider mid year and so glad we did. Paylocity has made our payroll processing and reconciling much more efficient and saved us tons of hours. The only thing Paylocity is lacking, is their benefits portion. That’s why I rated it at nine. Our benefits specialist has had a really hard time with different modules.
Pros
Time efficiency
Reconciling
Cons

as stated in the previous question, the reason I rated them a nine, is the lack of benefits, module, and efficiency in that.
We installed Paylocity 2nd Quarter of 2024 to streamline our processes, incorporate all of our companies into one cohesive system and merge several aspects of our team's employment into one solution. Our organization has been enabled to become much more transparent and provide team members direct access to their employment, payroll, demographic and even engagement information! We have also been able to integrate our benefits platform into Paylocity for a single sign on access to both systems.
Pros
Extremely User Friendly
Online Knowledge Base
Customer Service
Reporting - Reports already written as well as easy report writing/manipulation
Cons
Incremented accruals especially first year of employment
Implementation Discovery - Much more time, questions and exploration of new customer so that Paylocity can best steer users on setting up system and using it to the best of their advantage. We ended up going backwards many times due to missed set up and even are going without some functionality this first year because we can't go back in time and make corrections.

I believe Paylocity is well suited for multi-company locations. The ability to run reports either by company or combined is absolutely WONDERFUL!
We use Paylocity for full HRIS and ATS, along with Payroll Processing. I have added the Safety LMS which has taken the guess work out of compliance training. I appreciate an all-in-one solution rather than having multiple software to achieve the organizational goals
Pros
All of the available modules and capabilities
Employee dashboard
Cons
Functionality- ease of access
ATS functionality- still have to use third party Backgrounds and import data
would like to see an integration to add electronic checklists for onboarding, exit interviews that are more user friendly and not so segmented
Better integrations with calendars and scheduling

All-in-one platform. Plenty of functionality to meet the needs of any company, just needs to be a little more user friendly
We use Paylocity for the HR and Payroll module for maintaining employee data and running bi-weekly payroll, Time & Labor for time off tracking and time card entry, Market Pay/Compensation for compensation structures, Onboarding for new hires, Performance for 30 and 90-day checkings and mid-yr and annual reviews and journaling, and Recruiting for posting our open positions.
Pros
Customer service is very responsive. I like that I am now able to add support tickets from the Client Hub.
The Modern Workforce Index allows me to monitor how the site is being used so I can course correct on my communications if needed.
It has comprehensive reporting that allows me to run a report for just about any need that comes up.
Cons
I would like to see a Community forum that allows users to answer each other's questions to cut down on the need for service tickets.
I would like the ability to download the Journal entries out of Paylocity.
Not being able to create an excel report of time punches beyond one year from the current date is limiting.

As the HR Director, I use Paylocity several times a day for the projects I work on. The year-end dashboard has been very helpful in determining what tasks to prioritize and the communications that need to be send to to employees. It is a great collaborative environment that helps me coordinate with payroll and accounting on a daily basis for project management. I have used other platforms and while Paylocity isn't as robust in some areas, it is user friendly and has really good training materials for users. The addition of the AI has made a marked improvement in troubleshooting.
We utilize Paylocity for HR & Payroll, Onboarding, Performance Management, Time & Labor, COBRA and QSEHRA administration. In each of these areas, Paylocity has streamlined and standardized our workflows. Our organization is far more efficient as a result of having implemented Paylocity.

Everything we're doing has been made more efficient with Paylocity. The only module we decided wasn't for us was Recruiting, which we felt was easier to handle directly on Indeed's platform.
We use Paylocity for HR and Payroll, clock in and out, and have recently integrated background checks and drug testing. I love it much more. With the updates, it has become much more user-friendly. I am thrilled with the system and look forward to all the new items.
