As far as payroll, I have no issues with it. As far as employees in the factory, I always have to reset logins. I don't know if they just forget what it is, and some of them forget their questions, security questions, so I'm always having to reset that. They can just work on that part. I'll have no issues while I was out here I had to reset too.
Pros
Well, payroll, as long as I submit payroll, everybody won't say pay on time.
As far as the representative I got that helps us if I have any questions. Brooke is awesome.
Cons
Now if you asked me that a year ago, I might have had some things, but as far as this year I don't, I've not had any issues. If I have a question I can call and help me and if I don't get the person that the specialist that's assigned to us, somebody always calls and they help me out of any situation, especially I'm doing payroll and I need to stop pay on a check.
Likelihood to Recommend
I had to stop pay on the check and they helped me a lot before they actually, they stopped the direct deposit and it was sent back to us.
It's our HRIS system, so we use it for benefits applicant tracking. We utilize the Paycom Learning Module. We just last year enrolled in Beti, so we utilize that. We're kind of getting comfortable with the PAF's now.
Pros
The platform is super easy to use, I think. I love it. Overall
Cons
Customer service. Just it's either a little lacking wait times to get responses or to get the response you're looking for. It's a little difficult sometimes.

I think it's really great for onboarding and we wish the self onboarding was a little smoother, but as far as for onboarding new employees, I think it's fantastic

So we use it for our payroll system for employee tracking. We do all the onboarding through Paycom as well and terminations, and then our employees use it as the employee facing, so to view their pay stubs and time and cards, etc.
Pros
Time attendance I like because the employees able to request their punches. Payroll is great. Our pros, we have the data sets and that really has been a big saver for us as far as time because we set up the perimeters and it just pulls for us.
Cons
I think definitely if there could be a tax specialist that we could speak to that's client facing, that would be an area that I would like to see.
Likelihood to Recommend
I think for time attendance for payroll, really employee data keeping and areas of improvement. Again, I think that just having that tax person for us would be a big area that I like to see.
So then we do payroll through Paycom. We also enter all the information, all the new employees there. We do our reviews through them as well. We do recognitions through it. We keep track of all of our I-9's and so on.
Pros
I would say they're really good at anytime that we have an issue with any of the products, they're always there. They also come and meet us on site to go over new products or any questions that we have. So I think that that's one of the best things that they do.
Cons
I know that they have a special person that you really get in contact with every time that you have really an issue. But I think that, I mean, sometimes I guess they have a lot of people in the same team, and when you really have a communication with one specific person, but that person is not available, they put someone else. So I think in that aspect they will need, I said they can improve a little bit more. So then whoever you really speak to within the same team have kind of background of what your company is. So then they is more friendly, I will say in that aspect.
Likelihood to Recommend
I would say in the aspect of really for them when they come with the implementation to walk you through the whole process as a new company, they're incredible and that they're on side with you. So then I would say that is one of the best things that they really do.
It was such an improvement. We came from Paychex and I didn't like the way we have different stores, so I wanted one place, it was one database and the Paycom is the only one that does it, so I don't have to log in, log out from one company to the other. It's really one place
Pros
Really the seamless between a seamless move between companies. So one place for reporting, one place for just going and check all the employees. It's really the one that base where the employees, the key and not the company is the key. That's why you have multiple databases. One database with employee is the key.

Made our life easier for HR and I love the fact that our tech person comes every quarter committee to show us everything that is new coming out with the product and also implement for us right there. So the cost of customer service, the cost of being there for us, it's great.

Manager in Finance and Accounting (Retail company, 51-200 employees)
We use this for our main HRIS, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Training system. It gives a one stop shop platform that allows team members and managers to complete all that is needed for Talent Acquisition, Training, and Performance Management documentation. I personally use Paycom to manage the learning management system. This helps us house all courses from AT&T and My Wireless.
Pros
One platform that allows you to accomplish Mutiple things at once.
Tracks reimbursements and mileage very easily for our frontline leaders
Allows us to assign courses that tie to knowledge.
Cons
The Training platform is limited on functionality. Cannot do Learning paths as simple as I want to.
It also has you leave the Training Management System to update course completion for a team member.

This platform is very easy to use, and it's a one stop shop for an HRIS system. It helps us with everything from Talent Management, Recruiting, Training, and Performance Management.
Paycom took our HR processes from 5 apps to 1 for our employees. The in depth implementation process helped us to customize Paycom to our personal business needs, making multi-store HR management a breeze. We are now much more consistent with our HR processes across the board because of our switch to Paycom.
Pros
Organization
Documentation
Onboarding
Multi-location HR management
Cons
PTO and time-off features are not fluid for hourly employees. (The majority of our employees are hourly) Definitely built with salary employees as a focus.
Scheduling tool could use some work!
No group chat feature for store communication.
Not fluent with QuickBooks as promised in the sales pitch.

Paycom is amazing for what we needed, fully customized HR processes that keep our managers and employees accountable to themselves and their own HR information, rather than placing the load on one person in a company. My experience with Paycom has been amazing, The only reason I didn't say 10, is because I wouldn't recommend Paycom if I felt that my friends business didn't need the extensive and detailed processes that Paycom has, or if I felt a colleague's needs didn't justify the cost. If you don't NEED the organization, Paycom is significantly more expensive than other providers.
