Really just as an employee, we use it really to check on anything that's applicable myself from pay to time off and a bunch of other activities including benefits.
Pros
Tells me where my money is, which is most important, as well as time off and other types of benefit options. All important to me.
Cons
I don't have any suggestions at this time. I'm pleased with it.
Likelihood to Recommend
I mean, overall for me, I just think it's very convenient to use, easy to access. And as an individual, I just think it's convenient, it's easy. No room for improvement in my opinion. You keep doing what you're doing.

As an Analyst for a Benefits broker, I assist clients who utilize Paycom as their HRIS/Benefits Administration platform for monitoring enrollments, onboarding, and census reporting. It can help with auditing and forecasting for the client's budget. I use it daily for our company's biggest client.
Pros
Advanced Report Writer tool has customizable and robust dataset to work with.
User-Friendly interface for facilitating the employee self-service needs.
Provides a macro-level view of management metrics, such as salary expenses, headcount, and turnover.
Cons
Navigation issues due to the over-extensive feature set.
Pervasive layout of the standard reports often needs tedious customization.
Can be ideal option for larger clients, but not cost-effective for smaller businesses.
Likelihood to Recommend
For larger businesses, Paycom offers a Report Center that generates customizable and predefined reports across all workforce data, providing deep business insights that can be particularly helpful for clients with large datasets.

We were previous clients of Paycom. We did use Paycom for Payroll, position management, performance, surveys, training and documentation.
Pros
Everything was accessable on one page
User friendly
New employees were able to learn to use the system easily
Cons
The tax department - In my experience, our taxes for several different states were always neglected to be paid on time.
The availability of your support team when you need help and need to have some attention immediately. In my experience, we sometimes would never get a call back after leaving a message.
Reporting could be better with the data accuracy. In my experience, we could run several reports with the same information and it would all have different answers. No consistency.
Likelihood to Recommend
I did like the platform, it is user friendly and easy for employees to learn to use and find what they needed.

I use Paycom for Payroll, ATS, Employee Data Management, Onboarding, Reporting, Everify, and several other modules. Currently we are not experiencing any issues using Paycom. As an administrator I’m enjoying the ease of use for our management team as well as ease of use for our employees. We are making use of all modules available to us.
Pros
Training users
Ease of use
Available help when needed
Cons
In the ATS module easier way to cancel pre employment screening if client declines the offer
Likelihood to Recommend
Paycom is very easy to use, easy to learn and offer excellent assistance when help or training is requested. Each time we reached out assistance was always given and representatives responded in a timely manner. The representative stay with you and offer as much training as needed until you are comfortable with ease of use.

We've been a client of Paycom since 2002 and they have been a blessing to us over the years! We work on TV Broadcast towers all over the US and have employees from all over the country, who work in multiple states each year. Paycom makes it easy for us to track time through their Timekeeping system and allocate labor, per diem, mileage, etc to various States, Job #'s, Workers Comp Codes, and Tax Profiles. Their canned reports and report writers are amazing! We are easily able to do job cost imports into our accounting system making job costing a breeze! We have watched Paycom evolve over the years into the amazing product that you see today! They're constantly listening to the needs of their customers and are always open to hear ideas and suggestions that companies may have! Their development team is amazing! We would definitely recommend Paycom to anyone looking for a Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR solution!
Pros
Timekeeping
Labor Allocation
Tax Profiles
Reporting Capabilities
Dedicated Specialist
Cons
I would like the ability to add new workers comp codes in the system on the client side rather than having to have the specialist do this.
I would also like the ability to assign multiple Workers Comp codes to employees in one pay period, similar to the abilities we have with Tax profiles where you can also tie workers comp codes to hours on the timecard so that it will process through payroll with the right rates. We currently have a work around for this, set up through Labor Allocation however we are still having to figure rate calculations manually and subtract out the excluded OT and it does not tie back to the actual Workers Comp in Paycom or the Canned Paycom Workers Comp Reports. This would be an awesome improvement for companies who have employees constantly traveling from state to state with multiple work comp codes in a single pay period.

Paycom provides an excellent Payroll, Timekeeping, and HR solution. The software versatility accommodates customers from all industries.
We use Paycom as our payroll and benefits administrator. In general, the biggest benefit of Paycom is the flexibility to adjust the system to meet our needs. We have come across a few road bumps during implementation, but we’ve been, for the most part, able to work around them to get the system to process information in the way that we wanted to. I am quite pleased with its reporting tools. Prior to our switch to Paycom, many benefit processes were done offline. We now can handle all of those items within the platform, which ensures not only we remain compliant with various governmental regulations but also provides a good audit trail if there’s a question as to what has happened.
Pros
General ledger export
Benefit expense reconciliation
Tracking time off requests
Cons
Staffing turnover at customer facing roles
Select areas in company configuration that require paperwork instead of being done via the portal - i.e., setting up new deduction codes
Transparency in billing - a report that provides the breakout of the charges would be great

I have found a platform well suited for a company that likes to have maximum control over payroll and benefits administration. My biggest complaint is the turnover of staff in our payroll specialist position that limits my ability to get work done as some things can only be done by them.
I am the Human Resource Director at our company. We use Paycom for all of our payroll, benefits, and review processes. We have been extremely happy with the services and the software from Paycom. It's easy to use for our employees with an awesome app - and very intuitive. If I ever have any questions or need help on any processes, the Paycom representatives are right at my fingertips or at the end of the phone to resolve any issues. They are very knowledgeable and always know the resolution to my questions. What a pleasure it is for me to have Paycom as our payroll provider.
Pros
Intuitive software.
Excellent competent customer service.
Priced competitively.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything that they can improve on.

Our company has all types of positions: inside sales, repair, technical support, shipping that require hourly timecards. Paycom's app makes it super easy for them to punch in when they come to work and leave for lunch for the day. Accurate and precise timekeeping.

Paycom is used across our entire organization. After a few years of using several separate HR software and too many spreadsheets. We made the decision to switch to Paycom as an all-encompassing HRIS solution that could better scale our organization's growth.
Pros
The implementation process has been really wonderful. Throughout the sales pitch, it was stated several times that the Paycom team will do much of the heavy lifting during implementation, and that held true.
The candidate to new hire process in Paycom makes onboarding super seamless. Paycom has alleviated much of the administrative burden in the process, as well as many processes outside of onboarding.
Paycom's ESS is very easy to navigate.
Cons
Paycom is a robust one stop shop for all things HR, which is fantastic. But that also means it's not going to have every feature or element you'd find in an outside software that's dedicated to a specific HR function (like a specific software for performance management, LMS, ATS, etc.)
Much of the UX/UI is outdated and the functionality proves to be difficult in some areas.
Likelihood to Recommend
Paycom is a great option for large organizations. Being able to manage all People items in one space alleviates a lot of administrative burdens, and also makes things simple for the employee.

We are using Paycom for our whole organization. We have 2 companies under our umbrella for a total of 3 separate companies that we process payroll for. The business problems that it addresses is that it's our solution for payroll processing, benefit administration, compliance, applicant tracking, onboarding, performance reviews, and e-verify.
Pros
Paycome has outstanding Customer Service and that is one of the major reasons why we changed HRIS providers. We were looking for a level of service and we have found that with Paycom.
As our company grows we needed a solution that would grow with us and take us to the next level in Human Capital. Paycom does just that with all of the different modules they have to offer.
Payroll accuracy. We've only been a client for a short time, but so far we've been running perfect payrolls and if there is a problem it is always user error and not system error.
Cons
The Applicant Tracking System could definitely use some improvements. There seem to be a lot of steps to accomplish one thing. Need more functionality and also post to more job boards.
Likelihood to Recommend
Paycom seems to be well suited for all areas except the ATS. That is the only snag that we have run in to. It's a good ATS system, but if you have experienced recruiters who are used to working with Robust Applicant tracking systems, they are not going to like this one.
