Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Use case: we primarily used it to leverage serverless CMS deployment for our subsite that is developed on WordPress. Scope Of Usage: we used it to host our blog and share updates with our community. we employe whole department of content writer and marketing folks, thus continues stream of blog post was estimated. if we had chosen traditional server, we'd have to scale it manually, This is where Pantheon comes in handy, it provides our site on serverless platform so we'll never have to worry about scalability. on top of it, we needed in-depth insights of applications. Pantheon provides performance monitoring using New Relic. this was epitome of this service because we were actively monitoring performance gain and bottlenecks. it aligned pretty well with our agenda of optimizing our website for performance across all device.

Cons

Since it can host CMS, it would be nice if it could also host Laravel.
Caching is not on-par compared with AWS Elasticache.

Well-suited: Below are the criteria that you should consider if you want to check whether you should jump into Pantheon. if you're firm whose primary focus is not web development you're most business is centered around SEO, where implementation of idea take precedence. if you want to focus on content of website or posts of your blog you dont want to manage the tideos task of DevOps engineer to deploy and maintain your website. Less Appropriate: below if you're primarily a development firm need custom solution with extra control on resources.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Pantheon to host a small number of our client's websites.
The platform is easy to use and can get websites setup and have them up and running very quickly.
It allows us to provide granular user access to only the devs that need access to certain websites.
A great feature is how easy it is to spin up new environments when testing bugs or new features.
And provides a great way of configuring the platform settings (such as PHP config values)

We used Pantheon as a devOps platform for a WordPress website running Buddypress and Learndash.
We also had a mobile app connected to the site.

The ability to have a platform with a staging site for testing before deploying was beneficial. It solved the problem of wasting time migrating sql databases manually or using plugins as one would typically have to do with WordPress normally.

Likelihood to Recommend

Pantheon is a suitable option for agencies and starts when developing a website/PWA.
You can designate different levels of access via the pantheon system, and it has automated backups which are beneficial.

If you are creating revisions of a staging site and have team members who need to carry out different tasks (design, development, testing etc), they can operate independently and be on the same page (figuratively speaking), which is a time saver.

I suggested when you do have a final live site and it's bringing in traffic, do not use Pantheon shared hosting, it's weak and expensive relative to other providers. Either move to a dedicated plan or a different platform.

As we actively build and maintain websites for a large number of clients, we use Pantheon as a hosting option for the large majority of clients. In previous circumstances, we would be dealing with a smorgasbord of hosting platforms and server configurations, which becomes difficult to manage, difficult to replicate/resolve issues, and all-around tedious. Having everything under one roof has been instrumental to our success.

Pros

Integrated GIT / versioning
Tiered workflow for development and staging environments, for safe and rapid deployment
Consistent server configurations across projects, for easy diagnoses and speedy IT support

Cons

A little more control over features, e.g. htaccess, cron jobs, and general server configuration.
More integrated support for some niche solutions (e.g. WordPress multisite).
Allowing the ability to more easily clone or duplicate entire projects.

Likelihood to Recommend

For an agency or company that needs to manage multiple clients across multiple projects, Pantheon is a great fit and allows for easy management, configuration, and maintenance of projects under one roof. For an individual company seeking a hosting plan for a single website, there are other options that might be equally appropriate.

I've been running a WordPress website for years with a few updates here and there. Recently I was researching a new host after the old one offered to no longer support WordPress. I was looking for something that could provide me with the best performance, ease of use, and uptime. I came across Serverless CMS and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their service was way faster and their support was incredibly responsive. I have to say, I'm a fan.

Portfolio and resources management.

Cons

Time-Consuming deployment process.
Lack of study materials and documentation that help in setup.
Frequent resetting of cache required for doing proper function.

Easy Global system for effective on our different Cloud data and content building and even the excellent functions on multiple files and images editing and the best publication solution with great usability experience. Pantheon comes with a full set of capable functions and is easy to manipulate after the first initial Pantheon training. Its ability for multiple project life cycle management options is quite excellent and profitable.

Pantheon technical help on its starting deployment they are not that active.
Creation of multiple marketing contents may be tricky to new users.
Cloud functionalities adaptation is very technical.

Pantheon offers us the excellent capability for issues troubleshooting and very reliable Cloud data management solution and generating process reports via Pantheon functionalities is an easy task.
