Pros
Ease of Use: Users have expressed appreciation for the straightforward functions of the adapters, which eliminate the necessity for coding and simplify troubleshooting processes. The intuitive nature of the platform has been highlighted, making tasks more efficient and user-friendly.
Flexibility and Simplicity: Customers commend the platform's adaptability and ease of use, praising its clean and intuitive interface that does not require a powerful client to operate. This simplicity contributes to a seamless user experience without sacrificing functionality.
Streamlined Integration: Reviewers appreciate the time-saving benefits provided by Oracle applications' auto-association feature, streamlining integration processes by preconfiguring Oracle Integration with secure credentials for swift implementation.
By department. Helping to integrate discrete systems. Use Case: File transfer between third party bank vendor—Kyriba systems with the Peoplesoft System hosted on the OCI. The OIC servers as an integrator between the above 2 systems. It helps in establishing the connectivity with the least amount of coding and provides elaborate workflow, notification, and log status.
Pros
Adapters provide easy to use functions.
No coding is required.
Detailed log capture.
Easy to diagnose a problem and troubleshoot the issue.
Cons
Click, drag and drop
More samples for ease of use
Workflow creation can be a challenge at times. It requires a good understanding of the technology to design efficient workflow.

Good product. Needs practice and expertise to use it efficiently. The logging feature is detailed and provides better insights into the processed transactions to help troubleshoot if any issues. It features Out of box adapters that make it easy to integrate a wide variety of third party systems to the subject system. There is also a feature of writing custom adaptors that are built using the REST technology.
Oracle Integration Cloud is used for integrating with different systems together. The systems could be on premise or on the Cloud. In our organisation, it is used to integrate the PeopleSoft system with Workday. And also, it is used to integrate with the Oracle Digital Assistant and the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions systems. Chatbots built for the PeopleSoft systems are deployed on Oracle Digital Assistant. The Chatbot and the PeopleSoft talk through the Integration Cloud using the REST APIs. It addresses the business problems of integrating oracle ERP and other cloud solutions with third party systems.

Well suited: Oracle Integration Cloud is used for integrating with different systems together. Less Appropriate: When there is not much integration involved with two different systems.
Oracle Process Cloud is being utilized by our core software engineering team with the assistance of our business and finance team to automate many of our routine processes. Some of the tasks that we are automating with Oracle Process Cloud include employee onboarding and end-user service ticket handling. Oracle Process Cloud allows our managers to work on assigning processes and tasks away from the office, even if they are not even connected to the Internet.
Pros
Offline Productivity Feature. All work that is done offline gets immediately synced once the user reconnects to the Internet.
Minimal Coding Required. Our business team doesn't have any difficulty setting up tasks and processes to be executed.
Machine-Learning Recommendation Feature. Oracle Process Cloud's smart recommendations have been quite helpful for our administrators in helping them organize/categorize tasks.
Cons
No Support for Migrating Oracle BPM Apps. Oracle BPM applications cannot be ported over to Oracle Process Cloud.
Customer Support isn't the best. There were many instances where the support team couldn't fully understand the problems we were experiencing.
Absence of Case Management and Advanced Analytics. Due to Oracle Process Cloud needing less coding knowledge, many of the advanced features are not able to be configured.
Likelihood to Recommend
Oracle Process Cloud is suited for medium-sized companies and up who want to create applications that can automate tasks without the need of recruiting more software developers. With a couple hours of training, any member of the organization's business team will be well-equipped with all of the knowledge that is needed to use Oracle Process Cloud effectively. If your IT team is large and able to take upon the task of making the given application, then something like Oracle BPM is a better solution.

OIC is being used as a replacement for our enterprise integration bus. It manages data flow between our on-premise applications and ten cloud software vendors into our data warehouse. We are currently in planning for OIC to be the external interface to pure public data feeds as well. OIC provides our organization with a data flow management platform that is scalable and robust enough for our needs with a lower learning curve than other comparable integration packages.
Pros
Easy to learn and develop basic integrations.
Built-in connectors for our existing suite of Oracle ERP implementations.
Allows for our organization to have a robust environment that handles failover without the need to engineer and support a full SOA implementation.
Cons
OIC documentation can sometimes be difficult to follow and not explain all the necessary steps in order to set up some of the more complicated integrations.
The management interface could use some improvement, it does not recalculate statistics based on its retention period
Scheduled integrations are limited to a 10-minute frequency.
Likelihood to Recommend
As a cloud-first organization, we contract with numerous providers that require we ingest data feeds 24x7. OIC allows us to quickly develop new feeds quickly and efficiently. We make extensive use of CSV and SFTP data feeds to load data from cloud-based call centers and on-premise applications into our data warehouse in order to provide up to date data-driven decision making.

We use Oracle integration for connecting systems like Service Cloud and field service to back-office systems like Oracle EBS or JDE. We also implement it for many of our customers and help manage the integrations and train on how to manage them as well. It addresses many different problems mostly with surfacing data as needed to agents or field service representatives so that they can perform their jobs efficiently.
Pros
The visual mapping tool is very intuitive.
There are many out of the box connectors and adapters available.
Orchestration and Scheduling is visual and does not require a development background.
Cons
More documented examples would be nice to have. In general, most software (and really anything that has instructions) can always improve in that area, in my opinion.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for orchestration of data and providing a platform that is easy to use and maintain internally by an organization. It may still be used for exposing data to customers and end users but if a lot of UI work is needed it is not going to help you present the data.
