Oracle process cloud has been a major part of our company especially in the marketing and IT department. and it is helping us out in accomplishing the digital and technological demands of our organization and it is a time saver. We can integrate it with 3rd platform and it just not be necessarily an Oracle product. Since we have automated our applications using this tool we have observed some meticulous outcomes that we didn’t anticipate. and in our departments, we have not just automated processes but also ensured security as well.

Pros

The way we have automated our processes and variety of applications is just amazing.
The way it helped in ensuring the security of data is another benefit of it we can have a data backup.
We can link it up (integrate) it with other platforms and it's not a big deal if that 3rd platform is not an Oracle product.
It allows offline features too in other words if we have been doing something offline, it immediately syncs that when we get online again.

Cons

I feel that at some point it lacks advanced analytics.
Licensing is pathetic and expensive.
Price is a lot for small setups.
Customer support is not as I was expecting it to be.

Likelihood to Recommend

This tool is handy not just in implementation but also in usage that even a non-IT person can use it. The way it automates processes makes things quite easy and efficient for a company either big or small but in my opinion, its pricing wouldn’t allow a small setup to get this tool and get their job done with the assistance of this tool. But apart from that, it is a reliable and scalable tool that allows integration as well.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Oracle Process Cloud plays a pivotal role in business processes including my own business and it just helps a lot in meeting client requirements plus client expectations in regards to the product quality and delivery on time. Oracle Process Cloud has been used for the integration and testing of several different applications in the cloud under multiple environments and even configuration setups.

Pros

Oracle Process Cloud has been seamlessly integrated with multiple cloud databases for integrations.
Oracle Process Cloud has been very helpful in automating processes of employee onboarding and client issues as well.
With the help of Oracle Process Cloud, my firm has been able to create a very safe and secure application database setup.
The great facet about Oracle Process Cloud is that there is data security and integrity across different databases in Oracle Process Cloud. Moreover, the automation that is happening in processes and applications is also a strong factor of attraction for any user.

Cons

The cons of Oracle Process Cloud are also important to take into consideration because sometimes I do feel that Oracle Process Cloud becomes a little glitch.
I also feel that the costs of Oracle Process Cloud can be lowered down to some extent because such types of costs are a mere stretch.

Likelihood to Recommend

Altogether, I feel that Oracle Process Cloud is very handy for developing multiple applications and databases which can be seamlessly integrated. This just improves and makes the efficiency of the work a lot better. Hence, I think that Oracle Process Cloud is a very valuable platform that should be recommended to different companies because it has been providing reliable and scalable automation for large companies for a long time.

Oracle Process Cloud has been a great contributor to fulfill the technological and digital needs of our organization in many ways. We have been using this tool to automate our processes and applications in the cloud for assisting engineering and technical teams for efficient and reliable outcomes and it has also helped a lot to reduce manual workings for pre-assigned processes through automation. In our organization, Oracle Process Cloud is being used by the IT and Technology department mainly. We have successfully increased the overall efficiency and security of our data integrity and work processes through this tool.

Pros

Automation of processes and applications.
Data security and integrity across organizational databases.
Scalability and reliability of work processes.

Cons

Unavailability of advanced analytics and case management features.

Oracle Process Cloud is capable of handling complex processes through its automation and can integrate applications and processes at large for the organizations. It is very well suited for the organizations which are looking for a reliable source for process automation and management tool for overall work efficiency and accuracy.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Oracle Integration is used to bridge both Oracle and non-Oracle cloud services through API services. For example, Oracle Integration bridges a Oracle Cloud database with a custom Java API service gateway. The JSON from the Java API service gateway is then also called by Oracle Integration to be passed to an Oracle JET application for the front end.

Pros

Incredibly easy to create integrations for beginner coders.
Very flexible online user interface requires no powerful client to run.
Inbuilt connections for common Oracle tools.

Cons

It is very obviously Oracle and Oracle partner orientated.
Hanging issues, as well as other quirks plague the online UI.
Not currently available as a free trial the last time I looked.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Oracle Integration Cloud should be used for more often when considering integration services. As someone who now works in the RPA space, where often bots call, translate and send API requests with extremely high licensing costs - Oracle Integration Cloud would be a better fit. Environments where prebuilt connectors or where there's no API, webhook or other tool to call, OIC is not the correct tool to use.

Oracle Integration (OIC) is used to integrate different systems successfully. All the interfaces from and to Oracle HCM Cloud are managed through Oracle Integration (OIC). It resolves our reasons for manual intervention and provides fewer issues or errors with the integrations. There are many built-in adapters that can be used as is to integrate with those systems. Oracle Integration (OIC) is used across many different departments, connecting many enterprise-level applications.

Pros

Auto-association of Oracle applications prepopulates the application connector select box and preconfigures Oracle Integration (OIC) using secure credential access for faster integration.
Various other system connectors are available to use readily.
User-intuitive experience--Connectors, integrators, and dashboard can be seen on one page.

Cons

Need to include more adapters.
Only connections of same adapter type can be replaced.
Speed on the cloud servers is sometimes slow.

Likelihood to Recommend

Oracle Integration (OIC) is well suited where you have multiple inbound and outbound interfaces connecting to various systems. No coding is needed and it's very user intuitive. Oracle Integration (OIC) is less appropriate if it doesn't have the adapter for a particular system you are planning to integrate with. EDI integration is not supported. It is also not suited if all your applications are maintained in single system, as there won't be a need for integration.

By department. Helping to integrate discrete systems. Use Case: File transfer between third party bank vendor—Kyriba systems with the Peoplesoft System hosted on the OCI. The OIC servers as an integrator between the above 2 systems. It helps in establishing the connectivity with the least amount of coding and provides elaborate workflow, notification, and log status.

Pros

Adapters provide easy to use functions.
No coding is required.
Detailed log capture.
Easy to diagnose a problem and troubleshoot the issue.

Cons

Click, drag and drop
More samples for ease of use
Workflow creation can be a challenge at times. It requires a good understanding of the technology to design efficient workflow.

Likelihood to Recommend

Good product. Needs practice and expertise to use it efficiently. The logging feature is detailed and provides better insights into the processed transactions to help troubleshoot if any issues. It features Out of box adapters that make it easy to integrate a wide variety of third party systems to the subject system. There is also a feature of writing custom adaptors that are built using the REST technology.

We can connect to various systems directly using OIC for inbound and outbound data flow from oracle fusion applications.We are using Oracle Integration Cloud to integrate an SAAS application to our data warehouse. This has allowed us to get insights into our customers by using OIC to extract data using API. These insights have allowed us to generate targeted campaigns

Pros

Standard Adaptors are provided for certain software.
UI is neatly organized.

Cons

Need some material for the first-time user with detailed real-time scenarios.
Inbound to oracle Fusion can be confusing, especially in terms of security.

Oracle Integration (OIC)(include Oracle Integration Cloud Service) has plentiful adapters to enable cloud-based integrations - excellent coverage Oracle SaaS services even support event-driven integration. The pricing model is very competitive and gets billed for hourly consumption.
It is well suited if you have multiple systems that need to be automatically integrated.
Less suited, when you have one system where all the applications are maintained.

We integrate systems using OIC and it works great.

Pros

Time to market is very quick with OIC.
Less admin work is needed since it is autonomous.
The provisioning of OIC is really fast.

Cons

We need to have the capabilities for B2B integrations.
Development UI could have faster response times for developers.
Need capabilities for parallel processing and also should give users the ability to control threads.

Likelihood to Recommend

OIC is well suited for cloud app integrations and can build integrations at least 30% faster than Fusion middleware products.

Oracle Integration Cloud is used for integrating with different systems together. The systems could be on premise or on the Cloud. In our organisation, it is used to integrate the PeopleSoft system with Workday. And also, it is used to integrate with the Oracle Digital Assistant and the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions systems. Chatbots built for the PeopleSoft systems are deployed on Oracle Digital Assistant. The Chatbot and the PeopleSoft talk through the Integration Cloud using the REST APIs. It addresses the business problems of integrating oracle ERP and other cloud solutions with third party systems.

Oracle Process Cloud is being utilized by our core software engineering team with the assistance of our business and finance team to automate many of our routine processes. Some of the tasks that we are automating with Oracle Process Cloud include employee onboarding and end-user service ticket handling. Oracle Process Cloud allows our managers to work on assigning processes and tasks away from the office, even if they are not even connected to the Internet.

Pros

Offline Productivity Feature. All work that is done offline gets immediately synced once the user reconnects to the Internet.
Minimal Coding Required. Our business team doesn't have any difficulty setting up tasks and processes to be executed.
Machine-Learning Recommendation Feature. Oracle Process Cloud's smart recommendations have been quite helpful for our administrators in helping them organize/categorize tasks.

Cons

No Support for Migrating Oracle BPM Apps. Oracle BPM applications cannot be ported over to Oracle Process Cloud.
Customer Support isn't the best. There were many instances where the support team couldn't fully understand the problems we were experiencing.
Absence of Case Management and Advanced Analytics. Due to Oracle Process Cloud needing less coding knowledge, many of the advanced features are not able to be configured.

Likelihood to Recommend

Oracle Process Cloud is suited for medium-sized companies and up who want to create applications that can automate tasks without the need of recruiting more software developers. With a couple hours of training, any member of the organization's business team will be well-equipped with all of the knowledge that is needed to use Oracle Process Cloud effectively. If your IT team is large and able to take upon the task of making the given application, then something like Oracle BPM is a better solution.
