Solid CMS with great features and functionality
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
I use Optimizely Content Management System to manage all of the content and build pages on our company's website. We have a separate external team that helped us develop the front-end design of the site built on Optimizely, and our internal team does the ongoing maintenance and building of new pages on the website. We also use Optimizely Content Management System to help with doing optimization and testing of our website.
Pros
- Fairly easy to navigate the back-end of the platform
- Quick to load
- Simple and straight forward interface
Cons
- Small thumbnails for images to preview
- Functionality and design for forms are lackluster
- Personalization of content system is difficult to set up and maintain
Likelihood to Recommend
The platform overall works, but there are a number of issues that make our job in maintaining the site difficult. We've found ways to work around some of these issues, but it does slow down our processes. Personalization of content was also a big selling point for us, yet we haven't found a process that makes building and maintaining personalized content efficient.
