it is a multi cluster environment where each stage, dev, QA and prod has their own Red Hat OpenShift app cluster managed by an management cluster. This i see is a good way to manage the multi cluster architecture. Also, provide prod like environment for the development community. Not sure about the edge, but we have a public cloud integration.

For Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services firms, the choice of a container orchestration platform like Red Hat OpenShift often involves evaluating alternatives that align with their existing cloud strategies and client project requirements. These firms frequently operate in multi-cloud or hybrid environments, necessitating solutions that offer flexibility and integration with diverse ecosystems. Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) emerged as a notable alternative in this context, with 2 of 7 reviewers indicating they have used or evaluated it alongside OpenShift. This suggests that for service providers focused on cloud-native development and infrastructure, the managed Kubernetes offerings from major cloud providers are direct competitors. The decision often hinges on factors such as specific project needs, existing partnerships, and the level of operational overhead an organization is willing to manage, balancing the comprehensive features of OpenShift with the deep integration and managed services of cloud-native alternatives.
