We have utilized OneCause for our annual auction/gala event for over 10 years. The software is user-friendly for volunteers and guests. The event staff handles the software logistics (check-in, payments, etc.) directly with our volunteers--allowing our staff to focus on execution of the event and our supporters!
We use OneCause for all of our events. We have found our families love the ease and consistency of using one platform for each of our events. We don't find that is easily integrates with our RE NXT system, but the step of putting content from OneCause to RE NXT is not that high of an issue. Our next steps are implement more usage of the features in OneCause that are beyond the events management. But for now, we are on our 4th year using OneCause exclusively for events and wouldn't have it any other way.
I use OneCause for event management and registration of Foundation events. Our large events cannot be managed by a spreadsheet so OneCause's Auctions and Events software make it easy to track attendees as well as process credit card payments for donations and sales.

it is well suit to events having a silent auction. Less appropriate for ticketed events for Parent organization as the cost per year is expensive for smaller events.
We use OneCause every year for our annual auction fundraiser. This software helps us to run a large auction (over 350 items) and track our attendees, donors, and bidders. Our bidders have an easy online bidding process that is enjoyable for them while also helping us to raise more money through this event. Our auction has grown in the amount raised thanks to the ease and robust features of this auction software.

They rolled out new bidding software that we used in 2022, which was not good. It was hard for our bidders to use and hard for our staff to use to run the event. We switched back to the "old" software for our 2023 event, and that was much better.
There are just a few minor improvements we would like to see in the "old" software: better quality picture options for the auction items and the ability to "round up" with a donation during online checkout.

If you want an easy and user-friendly online bidding software, then the "old" software from OneCause is a great choice. It will engage your bidders and participants and help you to run a smooth event. If you have a new or inexperienced team running the event, the customer service from OneCause will be very helpful to get them up to speed. They have extensive help articles and are always available to answer specific questions. We've used the software for 5 years, so we don't need as much help now, but the customer service when we do need help is still excellent. The ability to have an on-site representative at our event has always been a huge help and relief. The newer software that OneCause rolled out in 2022 was built to do a lot more than just Auctions, and we found it to be lacking in the auction functionality. If you're just doing an online auction, then the "old" OneCause software is probably a better choice. Also, this software is not the cheapest option. We pay around $3,000 - $4,000 per year to use this software at our event (includes an on-site representative). It's money well worth it for us as it's helped our Auction to raise over $100,000 each year, but if you have a smaller fundraising goal, spending this much on software may not be worthwhile.
We use OneCause for ticket sales to our Gala and silent auction management. The software is easy to learn and we even have parent volunteers who work in it to help us set up everything.

OneCause made our life much easier when it comes to event management and silent auction payments. It was a great tool for our internal team and parent volunteer team to stay on track and on the same page. It was very easy to fix data if there was a mistake made and I really appreciated the support team that was quick to getting back to me if I had a question.
We use OneCause's BidPal system for our school auction. It is our major fundraiser for our school and we needed an upgrade from our handwritten, paper system that we were using for our silent and live auction. BidPal has done what they promote- increasing our auction revenue by using this online system.

Last year was my first time using OneCause. I had a lot of questions when it came to setting up our large school auction. The over the phone customer support was the best I've ever experienced. They were really patient and helpful and almost always I was confident my question/problem was resolved by the end of the call.
We use OneCause for our gala auction to facilitate an online silent auction and to make our virtual auction easier. OneCause has simplified our check-in and check-out process.

Online auctions work great! The ease of getting people into the platform and having them bid is wonderful. I would not use OneCause for ticketing for an event that did not have an online auction because of the pricing. I hate having to pay per ticket.

OneCause is the solution for all of our elementary school's fundraising needs. The product allows us to manage ticket sales for our gala and golf tournament, have an online auction or mobile bidding at our in-person auction, and run our annual giving campaign throughout the school year. OneCause answers all of our needs regarding donations and support from our school community.

We struggled for years with how to add sponsorships that come with tickets to our gala without having to add them manually. It is not the biggest problem- we have worked around it, but it would be nice if the tickets were automatically assigned when sponsorship was purchased.
