We use OneCause for all of our events. We have found our families love the ease and consistency of using one platform for each of our events. We don't find that is easily integrates with our RE NXT system, but the step of putting content from OneCause to RE NXT is not that high of an issue. Our next steps are implement more usage of the features in OneCause that are beyond the events management. But for now, we are on our 4th year using OneCause exclusively for events and wouldn't have it any other way.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our team utilizes the OneCause Fundraising platform for all of our fundraising events and day to day donation needs. This software allows us to house everything on one cental platform. The software is a must for event planning equip with tools and timeline to make managing your events easy and intuitive. Highly recommend if you are looking for one tool that can do it all.

OneCause is overall a great product they continue to find solutions to make the nonprofit users experience easier and less time consuming, so this tool is great is you are looking to streamline and allow your team to get some time back in their day. Reporting in the new platform is slightly different than in the original bidpal version so if you are new to reporting it can be tricky to know which reports to pull for which information.

Valley Outreach used the OneCause Fundraising Platform for our annual gala in 2024. We used the ticketing function to sell tickets which sold out 2 weeks before the event. We also used the fixed price function as well as live auction

Pros

Support is fantastic -- either by online chat or phone
Customer success managers are always available to help
The guest interface looks modern and professional

Cons

Some functions are found in different areas of the platform and hard to remember where to find what you need but once you navigate often it is easier to find what you need
Reports are different than with other OneCause platforms which takes some getting used to

We use OneCause for our special events: registrations, check-ins, silent & live auctions, and paddle raises. These events currently include a gala, a sporting clays tournament and a poker tournament. We enjoy the ease and efficiency of the product and the customer service provided by their professional team. I've been using them a multiple organizations for nearly 5 years.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use OneCause for our major fundraising events. It is used to check guests in and receipt auction purchases, raise the paddle donations, and miscellaneous charges throughout the night. It is also used for our weeklong silent auction. We run a weeklong silent auction where hundreds of people sign up and bid on packages. We collect between $500k and $750k through OneCause each year.

The biggest thing about OneCause is that if you do your work on the front end with collecting registration information for live events, it creates a seamless experience for the donor from check-in to check-out. Collecting contact information for guests can be cumbersome, but it is worth it once it is all entered into the software.

I use OneCause for event management and registration of Foundation events. Our large events cannot be managed by a spreadsheet so OneCause's Auctions and Events software make it easy to track attendees as well as process credit card payments for donations and sales.

there should be a page where you can sell off golf tees for a set amount.
Bring down the cost for people only using it once a year

it is well suit to events having a silent auction. Less appropriate for ticketed events for Parent organization as the cost per year is expensive for smaller events.
