We use it to create, share, and keep updated on our processes. We can then exploit the information from different perspectives: systems map, role participation in processes, etc.
Pros
Simple UI.
Feedback workflow.
Easy to share.
Cons
Integration of model processes and Nintex processes.
Navigation of the process structure of the company.
Likelihood to Recommend
For our use case, it's well-suited for the specifics of a process for the user. It's harder to achieve a level above and maintain visibility without the detailed view.

I use Nintex at our specific location while there is an enterprise license for multiple locations. Our location uses Nintex to document SOPs and share best practices or ideal future state maps.
Pros
Create SOPs
Easily share maps
Single source for updated process maps
Cons
The resources available to coach and launch the roll-out would be helpful to add there.
More comm plans that orgs can tailor and use to help promote the adoption and understanding of how to leverage tools
Convene user groups of ProMasters by Industry
Likelihood to Recommend
Best for future state. Not recommended for capturing the current state with all the decision nodes and pathways- I use visio or Lucid for those.

We are using Nintex to automate the processes in all our departments especially administrative back office. I am specifically focusing on automating processes in our University Records department. I am digitalizing the different processes moving them from paper and/or emails to workflows. Overall, my entire team of 5 people working on the Nintex Process Platform love it.
Pros
Query our databases
Allow us to build solutions fast
Is simple enough to use for our Citizen Developers
Is versatile: possibility to develop on prem or in the cloud with Nintex Workflow Cloud
The "Enable verbose logging" is extremely helpful. I love it.
Cons
I have noticed some bugs in the Nintex Workflow Designer with the State Machine action. For example, in the State Machine action, when you delete a state, the branch still shows and take many refresh to actually not show anymore.
In the Workflow Designer, when we use a Flexi Task action: in the text for Task Notifications field there is no "word wrap" unless we skip a line the text we write just continues and gets of the visible part of the field.
This is not at all a major issue but if it could be improved it would be great. It usually take at least 4 minutes to run a "Change State" it would be great if this time could be reduced.
If Nintex support forum could be more reliable with the questions and responses that would be great.
There is a lot of products in the Nintex Process Platform that we have no training on. I would not be surprised if the decision makers within our companies are even aware that those products exit.
Likelihood to Recommend
Very appropriate: for a big firm. That does not want to move its databases to the cloud. Nintex Process Platform with Sharepoint on a on-prem server is a great solution.
Less appropriate: if it is a smaller firm with for example an integrated MS Azure Stack. Because of the cost of Nintex Process Platform I might be more incline to recommend MS Products like Power Automate.
Nintex process platform is used for mapping and storing cross processes to be share across different departments. It is easy to use. However mapping complex processes we still need to use Visio.
Pros
Map simple process
Link procedures to processes
Link processes and activity within processes to different roles
Cons
Mapping higher business processes is not possible with Nintex process platform formally promapp
Likelihood to Recommend
For University processes, Promapp is appropriate for mapping process across different site for different levels however it is not a popular tool for all department.

We use the Nintex form to submit our Title III Time and Effort reports. It allows us to report work towards deliverables and document that for the Title III department.
Pros
Easy auto complete fields
Signature capture
Date and time capture
Automatic routing of approvals
Cons
Better validation. If there is a field that needs to be submitted, user should not be able to submit form before completing.
Likelihood to Recommend
I have only used the Nintex platform to submit Title III Time and Effort reporting. It seems to work well for our institution.
We have several business processes that have been automated via nintex. It has improved process efficiency and made them paperless. Also when the process changes, with Nintex, changing the flow is relatively flexible.
Pros
Shipping workflow
Purchase Request Workflow
Request for payment
Contracts expiration worklow
Cons
A seemless move to cloud
Very expensive cloud license (new license)
Likelihood to Recommend
Business processes is well suited, like the ones mentioned before. less appropriate for managing student education course load and degree plans
We are using it to automate document signing for our students. Prior to this the process was completely manual. Our code compiles information from our potential students and then connects to the Nintex Cloud API to fill out our contracts, stitch contracts together and sends them to the student for signing.
Pros
Workflow UI
documentation
phone support
Cons
documentation has many broken links
Likelihood to Recommend
The product is extremely versatile and customizable. The workflows provide an unparalleled range of customization that you just don't get with any competing product. While their documentation could use some QA work (broken links) it is very detailed and thorough. They also offer a very comprehensive learning platform which was instrumental in my learning the product.

Nintex helps in providing our company with business automation. Human dependency has been decreased due to nintex. All human intervention is replaced by robots. Also it's pretty simple to create forms using this software.
Pros
Helps to monitor business processes and workflows.
Operational cost has been reduced.
Likelihood to Recommend
It is pretty useful to manage workflows using this software.

Across the whole organisation, it enables us to keep all our processes and risks in one place where they are easily accessed and read, linked when necessary, and updated regularly. It's managed by the Promaster (me). It allows for transparency with our processes across the company, when changes occur in a process, they can be updated easily. Having rolled out company wide training when we first implemented Promapp, refresh courses are quick and easy
Pros
Keeps processes in one easy to access location
Good visual in the map view for following processes
Easy to update or change processes
Cons
Add more than one expert
Autosave
More reporting option
Likelihood to Recommend
[Nintex Promapp is] good for basic processes. It's less appropriate where the process has multiple outputs

Nintex Promapp is used throughout the organisation. We use it to guide the team on how to do their jobs, induct new employees and to introduce potential clients to the Nintex Promapp platform.
Pros
Easy to Use
Links to other systems
Provide useful improvement features
Cons
Limited ability to analyse data
Lack of an open API
Likelihood to Recommend
Nintex Promapp is the best process management solution I have come across in a long time. It combines simplicity with useful features that helps an organisation to manage processes well. The integration to the broader Nintex suite (e.g. workflow management and RPA) also offers organisations with the ability to rapidly improve processes.
