Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Nifty as a one-stop solution for Project management including - task management, timeline management, charting requirements, creating and sharing the team notes, and efficiently collaborate on the tasks since in the majority of the enterprise-level projects we have a huge team of professionals working in different time zones, Nifty help us collaborate effectively without the requirements of basic and regular status meetings!

Pros

  • Task management - Nifty helps us with ineffective task management through comprehensive Gantt chart functionality which we use all the time!
  • Extremely easy to use and setup with institutive user interface
  • Inbuilt Chat functionality - it is great to have an inbuilt chat feature to have all the conversations related to a project localized in a single place ensuring great accessibility
  • Capability to integrate with various document management and meeting platforms

Cons

  • Time Expense could be improved since we cannot edit the previous/past time logs entered.
  • Lacks expense management and Purchase order management functionality
  • Newest product updates are not always stable and I had to reach Nifty's support team a couple of times in the past to fix the issues with new updates e.g. our document management and meeting integrations had to be re-authorized

Likelihood to Recommend

I would positively recommend Nifty to anyone looking for project management that has got all the basic to advanced features. Nifty has all the must-have as well good to have features in it, and that is what makes Nifty stand out from the huge competition of plethora of Project management tools out there.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Nifty is being used as the central collaboration hub for the organization teams. Project managers use Nifty to align project teams, manage tasks and communications and keep all teams working together and connected at all times. Individual or team discussions are turned into actions, organized into a knowledge base or topics.

Pros

  • An overview of project timelines and milestones.
  • One-on-one or group conversations.
  • Tracking the status of projects and tasks.

Cons

  • It is not possible to edit time logs because there are no comment sections in time logs.
  • I just want to see more templates added.

Likelihood to Recommend

Nifty speeds up project lifecycles, aligns teams to work together to avoid missing deadlines and automates the process of reporting. Individual team members use Nifty to set their own project goals so that they can complete tasks on time. This app brings feedback together and offers teams dynamic collaboration to help them focus on the completion of the project.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Nifty's currently the primary software for all project management. For years I've struggled with finding a project management software that would satisfy our needs across the board, usually having to use multiple platforms. Nifty's allowed us to have everything in one central location which has streamlined processes in a huge way.

In the past we'd used Basecamp (for projects that required long-term collaboration or projects and file uploading from clients), Trello (for internal projects and SOPs), and Glip (for communication, calendar, video meetings, and tasks) together to achieve the project management and system processes needed and have replaced all three with Nifty.

The ability to create versatile, multi-view projects has been invaluable, leaving less open to being overlooked due to confusion on where the information is located. Nifty's intuitive, all-in-one platform has saved us time, confusion, and money.

Being able to have one central location for all projects has been a gamechanger.

Pros

  • Neurodiverse - Allowing user to choose view of their choice (kanban, swimlane, list, calendar)
  • Ability to break down projects and tasks with multiple variables
  • Task Management
  • Integrations
  • Consistently adding new features / improving software

Cons

  • It's not a pretty platform (it's extremely intuitive, but the color scheme and fonts are less than visually appealing)
  • Tasks can be broken down once into subtasks, but I'd like to see the ability to break them down infinitely
  • Due to the frequent improvements and feature upgrades, I have to re-authorize the Zoom integration from time to time - no biggie, unless realizing the need to re-authorize when needing to hop on a call

Likelihood to Recommend

I've found myself recommending Nifty to other business owners as well as for personal use. I've personally found it to be invaluable when it comes to:
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Quarterly recurring tasks
  • Creating templates for company processes such as new product creation, marketing strategy, on-boarding, quarterly goals, content management
  • Having forms zapped into a new task from multiple locations ensuring they're never overlooked
  • Having clear milestones and timelines for projects
  • Communicating on projects, tasks, and just in general
  • Assigning different components of projects to different people
  • Creating prior requirements that must be completed before completing the task
