RallyBound has proven to be a valuable tool for various fundraising events and campaigns. Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our development department uses Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) for general donations and for our walk platform. Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) processes general donations that come in over our website. It has a wider role within our Walk program. Walkers can sign up and customize their own walk site within Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound). We also process all walk-related giving through Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound), including running reports. It integrates with our CRM and allows us to track new involvement.

Pros

Reports are easy to access and easy to run.
We like that it gives walkers latitude to customize their walker site.
It is better than our previous service (Convio) at giving local managers access to fix errors in the system on behalf of individual walkers (e.g., wrong address or team name).

Cons

It should be easier to find the admin sign-in.
The reports' UI could be streamlined. I usually have to turn certain filters off that should be off by default.
I would like to see a little more customizability of the website.

Likelihood to Recommend

Neon Fundraise (formerly Rallybound) is well suited to third-party fundraising. We use it for our walk fundraiser, and we enjoy the level of interactivity and customization it offers our constituents. It also makes donation entry and reporting fairly easy, so it would be well suited for operations with vast numbers of donations in cash, check, and credit. It might be less suited to events with a handful of large donations from corporate benefactors.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Rallybound is being used by our entire organization. We use Rallybound as our fundraising digital integrative platform across many different events such as our fundraising cycling ride, programmatic events, as well as third-party fundraising. Rallybound is used on the back-end for reporting fundraising numbers, ticketing, and overall participant numbers. Rallybound also addresses the problem that we used to have all of the above stored on different platforms. We are now all on one.

Pros

Rallybound is able to have websites that are user-friendly to our participants. Our participants are able to navigate through their profiles with ease. With our participants able to easily navigate their pages, the staff is able to spend less time asking questions and instead coach their fundraising efforts.
Rallybound is able to customize your website to your needs, for a fee of course. Rallybound is also able to customize certain reports for you if that specific report has not already been created. This is essential for my team when pulling revenue numbers or projecting future revenue/budgets.
Rallybound's customer service is quick to respond and helps navigate issues. This is crucial when you are on-site at an event trying to solve a problem.
Rallybound allows you to check-in individuals based off of the registration on their website. Their check-in is so simple and easy to use.

Cons

Rallybound usually has a website glitch once a month that our team has to address. An example of this is that our fundraising numbers are sometimes being skewed or pages are deleted from the website. Rallybound fixes these issues quickly, but they should not occur in the first place.
Rallybound should update their email platform. We used to send coaching emails about fundraising from their system, but we now use Pardot because the templates are more appealing and easier to navigate.
Rallybound needs to ensure that their sales team and their web team are on the same page at all times. Sometimes our organization is told we are able to do certain things, but then find out it is not possible when it is further discussed. This wastes time on all fronts.

Likelihood to Recommend

Rallybound is well suited for organizations who want a simple platform that can address multiple needs, such as a digital fundraising platform, reporting, and the ability to email. We have been using Rallybound for the last few years because it fits our organizations' needs. Rallybound is not suitable for organizations who want complex fundraising such as linking fundraising to steps/exercise time. Rallybound is limited in some functions when it comes to emails and updating profiles.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Rallybound for all of our peer to peer and ticketed events. Over $1mil in transactions are processed each year. We specifically chose RB because we wanted a system that integrated with Salesforce. RB exports all donation information into Salesforce each day with little user intervention needed. Rallybound makes it easy for our fundraisers to create their own pages and for our donors to donate. There are a few upgrades that Rallybound could make, and we let them know when we think of new features. They have been going through the list and new features are released periodically. We are very happy with the product.

Pros

Integration with Salesforce is exactly what we were looking for.
Easy to make fundraising pages.
Easy for us to communicate with our team captains and fundraisers.

Cons

Communication around new features and updates could be better.
Ticketed event pages could have more custom options.

Likelihood to Recommend

Rallybound excels in the peer to peer space. We have many walks and runs and these run flawlessly through Rallybound. If your situation is more around major donors or general donations, this is not the product for you.
