Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've worked with nDash as a freelance writer for several years and have been impressed by the platform, the level and quality of clients they attract, the responsiveness and proactivity of the people who work there, and the fact that they make my life so much easier.

nDash allows me to concentrate on what I'm good at -- writing compelling content for clients -- while they handle the tedious side of things including invoicing, billing, and payments.

Pros

  • Helps clients find writers who are a good fit (both culturally and experience/style/knowledge-wise)
  • Makes freelance writers' lives easier by handling billing and payments -- no more chasing clients with follow up emails!
  • Proactive staff is a joy to work with. As a writer, I get the info I need from the client to successfully deliver the content they need.

Cons

  • The one time I ran into a small issue with the platform -- I don't even recall what it was now -- I emailed the team and mentioned it. I think it was later that afternoon that I got a return email thanking me for the heads up and letting me know the issue was resolved.

Return on Investment

  • Over the years, nDash has introduced me to dozens of new clients and provided me with hundreds of assignments.
  • As a solo freelancer, nDash's in-house staff has helped/stepped in rare "emergency" or unexpected situations, allowing me to handle what I needed to while still creating a seamless experience for the client.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As a B2B content-writer, nDash is one of my best sources for getting clients. More specifically, clients within my niche (tech and cybersecurity) who have the budget for my services. It makes it easy to search opportunities based on subject matter, then submit bids for writing projects. Another great thing is that nDash handles all the back-end work. So after the project is done, the invoicing and payments are processed automatically (which saves me a ton of time). I also like how simple it is to create a profile where new clients can come straight to you.

Pros

  • Makes it easy to find writing clients in your niche and price range
  • The interface is easy to navigate and operate
  • Takes care of invoicing and payment processing for you after project completion
  • Provides an intuitive opportunity pipeline to track proposals and pending projects

Cons

  • I'd love to see more options for project types and be able to adjust the writer rates based on content length
  • It would be cool if the Assignments came with a data field specifically for content purpose (Ex: SEO/Web Traffic, Demand Gen, Education, etc.)
