Internal ticketing and project management across sales, solutions engineering, and product teams. We handle professional service projects as well as pre-sales scoping projects that are managed in monday.com. The timeline visualizations and project intake forms are very valuable tools for us.
Pros
Intake
Timeline visualizations.
Native automation builder.
Integrations with HubSpot.
Cons
AI automation.
Resource management.
Reporting complexity.
Likelihood to Recommend
Very well-suited for simple project intake, either internally or externally and managing projects across a wide variety of stakeholders of an organization. Less appropriate for highly complex professional services with robust resource management needs.

We use monday.com to track project progress from start to finish. This begins with our Sales team and goes all through the onboarding process. It helps keep our teams aligned and organized. We are also able to produce a variety of reports to determine where we are with KPIs for each team.
Pros
Reporting
Customization
Organization
Cons
Can be confusing to use at first
Would like interface to be more streamlined
Likelihood to Recommend
I think monday.com has many uses, and, because of that, I can't think of a situation where it wouldn't be useful. Even if you're only tracking personal projects, it could be helpful.

I use monday.com for EVERYTHING! Daily tasks, collaborative projects, requests from team members, onboarding new hires, 1:1 peer coaching, event planning... you name it. monday.com allows all of my work to be transparent to all at our organization, and it also saves me and our people leaders hundreds - if not thousands - of hours per year through templates and automations. monday.com is my favorite tool!
Pros
Automations to move/fill items without much manual work
Working from templates to keep things moving quickly
Tagging/pinging others to increase transparency and communication
Bright/warm colors and easy navigation to create a pleasing user experience
Cons
Honestly, just price. Our technology team hounds us all the time about the price of monday.com and would prefer us to use something cheaper.
Likelihood to Recommend
Perfect for project management, daily tasks, onboarding new hires, certification programming, cross-functional work, and event planning. Probably not as suitable for technology teams who live in Jira and would prefer to keep things there.
We use monday.com to track hours for our Strategic Services team. This allows us to track revenue per head and ensure that we are staffing each of our accounts optimally.
Pros
Great UI
Integrate with Tools
Time Tracking
Cons
Better integration with Google Calendar
Likelihood to Recommend
monday.com is great for any team that has the need for detailed project management. It may not be appropriate for tracking sales data as well as Salesforce can

I use monday.com on a daily basis to organize my team tasks and activities. We use automations to link different boards and groups witch are very important to maximize the interactions between company areas.
Pros
Automations
Dashboards
Deadline management
Cons
Text formatting
Likelihood to Recommend
It's well suited in medium or large companies, with complexes activities, projects and deadlines. I wouldn't recomend Monday for small business, with and simple activities.
I am a member of a tech startup which offers unique projects that are difficult to keep track of. Our team has several levels of experience with using applications and the user friendly interface has all of employees engaging with our company's platform from day 1.
Pros
Friendly to non-technical folks
Allows for teams to interact on a workspace
Variety in the type of columns
Offering a IDE and marketplace for customization
Cons
The use of activity log not being able to be exported, some of our users added data to the activity log and as a result have accidentally created a data lake on the application
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for work management. It is not a good stand in for RDS or a traditional mySQL database.

We use both the app and the website to do the task tracking of our projects. It helps us deliver and follow-up with how the team is doing and how our work is getting done.
Pros
Task tracking
Notifications of due dates
Assignees
Cons
Visualizations of metrics about our process
Reports that could be downloaded in excel
Likelihood to Recommend
monday.com is perfect when your team is always following up the project and the pace. monday.com is not as appropriate as expected when your team needs to be notified a lot to get things done, I think that if monday.com could send more notifications of the followup it would be an improvement
We use it with our software support team to keep track of data and organize tasks. We also use it to improve communication and coordination with our team as well as the developers and leadership. Customer service and task management are made more efficient through using monday.com. I even use some boards I created to help myself stay manage my duties and work time.
Pros
Improves team communication and coordination
Keep track of tasks and time management
Intuitive design
Cons
More customization and settings to enable/disable certain features
More automation options
Improved settings for charts
Likelihood to Recommend
I would definitely recommend it for anyone that works within and with teams as it can greatly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of that structure. I also recommend monday.com due to its intuitive design and ability to customize and quickly modify how data is stored and presented. The only thing keeping it from a 10/10 recommend is there are some limitations with customization and automations that seem greatly needed.
We are using monday.com for program management and also as a tool to manage documents for internal use. It assists the project team in planning work and is also being used to collaborate and exchange information. It is a good tool used by senior management to look at a bird's eye view of how a project is performing
Pros
I like the flexibility of monday.com to specify custom fields and types of fields. One can have as many fields as necessary including different types of fields
I like the automation feature that creates tasks automatically or updates tasks automatically
I like the dashboard feature
Cons
I would like monday.com to improve the functionality to inherit permissions from the master board. Every time a new board is created, permissions need to be set
it would be great to allow boards to have boards within them. Currently we can have as many boards but not boards within boards
It could have more folders. Only maximum 2 folders are allowed
It could have better subtask functionality. If sub tasks are created, there are lot of clicks and scrolling
Likelihood to Recommend
Monday.com is good for managing tasks but as far as project management or program management, I would lean towards Wrike or Asana. The hierarchy in monday.com can be improved.
We utilize monday.com to help communicate in-house and track prior pipelines and contacts. Out Teams at OSP create work boards to help keep things orderly and run more efficient. It is quite easy to create a board or create "polls" to help with day-to-day operations. I like the deal tracker feature in CRM.
Pros
Deal tracker
Pipeline
Contacts
Cons
More features
Better options
Upgraded platform
Likelihood to Recommend
Entry level CRM that is good at keeping a handle on outreach campaigns or pipeline management. It is well suited to give updates via email or via the monday.com app keeping you informed when the target engages or responds to outreach. Simple platform, easy to use, quickly set up, limited features etc...
