We have been using monday CRM for over a year. We have about 50 employees and this has been working out well for us. We have been using this mainly for workflows and operations. The product is very easy to use and it allows our employees to work together seamlessly. Being that we are a mostly remote workforce this is imperative.
Pros
Advanced Reporting
Allows us to Collaborate
Improves our Team Communication
Cons
Robustness - I don't expect it to be SalesForce of course but needs some more functionality so we can scale this as we grow
Need to distinguish between the three Monday products and make them act as they are designed - Example Workforce, Project Management and CRM are basically the same functionality just presented differently

monday CRM is well suited for a start up or a company that doesn't need robust functionality to get started. The CRM needs more ease of use when it comes to performing the tasks that Sales needs. It also needs more options for columns and you should be able to customize the platform to your needs - that proves difficult sometimes

I started my work on monday as a marketing manager in a large e-commerce company - we were looking for a flexible and convenient solution to manage the many departments in the system without affecting the management of customers and the various sales processes. I started working with monday and slowly I was drawn in and built a step and another step for the business until we introduced all the work processes. With the help of working with monday I canceled licenses for 7 different systems and we saved tens of thousands of dollars a year not only because of the systems I stopped using but because nothing fell through the cracks anymore.
Pros
Lead management
Control over the department
Automated sales process
Cons
Improving support response times

Accounting and inventory management of a business is less suitable for monday - we personally connected the accounting and inventory system to monday and created a complete process.
I really love the visual aspect of this monday CRM system. Dragging and dropping to arrange things and having it all color-coded makes it so much easier to see where all your projects stand. There’s a lot to learn if you want to use it to its full potential, so make sure you’re ready to invest that time.
Pros
Grouping similar stage items together so you can see where they’re at, then allowing you to change views so you can see how they sit-in your overall plan
Colour coordinating projects
Using automation rules to send reminders for important milestones
Cons
Linking your email to their system so you can send messages is time consuming

We run a number of animation projects simultaneously, so I use it to make sure our staff are all aligned for the different stages they’re needed in, plus knowing what approvals I’m waiting on from clients, so I don’t have to try to keep it all in my brain (I tried that and it was impossible)

On a daily basis, our Client Success team and Sales organizations use Monday as a project management and sales pipeline/ forecasting solution. Monday allows our leaders to capture dashboard snapshots of our Client business with deal progression, and activities and focus on problem areas across our prospective and existing client base.
Pros
Intuitive dashboard creation
Simple and dynamic board creation
Look and feel is appealing
Cons
Reporting capabilities
Contact association with accounts and higherarchy of contacts
Summary of changes at the "deal" level

monday CRM is a great project management tool and can have many use cases beyond traditional PM. For example, we use it for managing our Marketing Plans, Sales pipeline, and forecasting.

We have all of our project management on Monday.com, and being able to use it for sales also has worked very well. It is simpler to use than other systems we've used and is more easily flexible. Often easy-to-use products don't offer much flexibility to use the way that makes sense for your company. At the same time, often very flexible products are a large amount of work to set up the way you want and are overly complex. Monday.com does an incredibly good job of offering you sensibly, easy-to-use setups to start from while still giving you the flexibility to change things as needed.
Pros
Ease of use
Easy customization
Fast
Simple
Same system for many different functions
Cons
They have a lot of automations already, but adding even more would be nice.

I think Monday CRM is very well suited for teams that want a simple, easy-to-use system that is also flexible. It is very visually pleasing to look at while also offering an incredible amount of functionality. It is also a great option if you also need to track other projects and tasks.
We use monday.com to collate leads, contacts, job tenders, newsletter recipients and deals won. It's far better than anything we have used before. The product gives my whole team instant oversight of prospects contacted, initial outcomes and tasks to do. We can add as much or as little detail to suit our business needs. Without monday.com, we'd struggle to seamlessly organise our team.
Pros
We like the ability to add 'Boards' to suit our particular set-up
The master search facility is very helpful
The website is flexible - you can add columns, move entries on boards to other boards and link other boards
Cons
Upgrade pop up offers are a bit too frequent
Automations seem complicated so we don't really use those
Could the font overall be a little larger on the site?

If you need your team to be highly organised with minimal effort, monday.com is our top choice. It is particularly useful to the industry we operate in because we are frequently reaching out to new prospects. We need our whole team to be aware of which prospects have been contacted in order to avoid duplication.
I use the Monday CRM to manage a small team on our commercial projects. I can oversee my team's work, chase them on accounts, stay up to date with my own pipeline, and create new boards when we enter new territories. I also use the Monday CRM for creating new task list boards and keeping a record of all inbound leads we get.
Pros
Organising sales pipeline, I like the kanban view
Each user can be added to certain accounts, making it easy to see who has ownership of what
Searching via team member is useful, or using the map feature to find international prospects
Cons
It would be really useful to be able to extract data to excel on 'status changes', this way for example, I could easily use this feature to track weekly sales KPI's for my team
Although I like the kanban view for functionality, it could be a bit more aesthetically pleasing, as the trello kanban views are, and could benefit from tags on there
KPI tracking add on would be useful, which pulls data from status changes, e.g. when a sales team member changes status from 'in talks' to 'signed', the number on their 'weekly signed' target would go up by 1

It's great for managing my team, especially remotely, to ensure they are up to date with their pipelines and KPIs. I really like it as a tool for nudging team members, or asking for updates as they get an email notification (as do I) whenever a card is updated that relates to us. It's very useful the ability to add files to cards too. The only area I'd improve is being able to extract the data when a status changes to excel, as this would help with KPI tracking numerically.
