I help a company use it to reclute people for other companies and they connect the CRM with WM, by having the department of sales on CRM and operations in WM, and it is very useful to have everything in one platform.
We use monday CRM as a way to manage our sales pipeline and subsequent onboarding process. It helps us track potential customers and follow their journey through the negotiation, contract signing, and a lengthy onboarding process where we collect a lot of documents and information about our customers. From there, we continue to keep our customers in the monday CRM so we can follow up when documents expire or contracts need to be resigned or renegotiated. The monday CRM acts as our source of truth for our customers' information.
Pros
Data management
Automations
Access management/security
Easy data visuals and reporting
Cons
Tutorials for less tech-savvy users
Customer interaction integrations
Expanded scope of HIPAA-compliant tools

Monday is excellent at data management and automating tasks to keep everyone on the same page and projects on track. Being able to tag other users, share with external people (i.e. contractors), and communicate easily through comments and updates is very helpful. It's easy to see at a glance where certain projects are at, and it's easy to organize data and files that correspond to a specific project or person. monday CRM is less useful for very complex workflows or when there's a lot of back-and-forth feedback, as those details can get lost easily.
We are a B2B SaaS firm, we use monday CRM to collate leads generated from various marketing channels and qulify these leads through the various stages of the pipeline to close a deal. This will also be a point of ollaboration between the sales and marketing teams to work on the prospect and close the deal
Pros
Pipeline Analysis
AI Lead filtering
Identifying priority leads
Moving contacts through the funnel
Cons
It lacks auto enrichment
It doesnt supply integrating with many third party tools
We are an executive search firm and use the CRM to give full visibility and track email correspondence with our clients and to keep historical records of all of our searches.
Pros
User-friendly, even for users who are not tech-saavy
Highly customizable design
Very easy to duplicate boards and use templates and dashboards
Cons
Setting up automations can be complicated
There are occasional glitches that even monday.com support cannot explain

At the price point offered, the monday CRM was by far the best option for our organization because we were already using it on the Work Management side. They made it super easy to integrate boards and dashboards on both sides. It has been really good at presenting our data in a clean and easy-to-digest manner. We were a little frustrated in the set-up process that certain boards could not automatically "speak to each other" without complicated automations.
We brought this into our organisation to help with the multiple systems we had to strealine and centralise the various departments, systems and ongoing projects to help us be more efficient and effective in our day to day communication and also with how we report. We had previoulsy being using a system that was over capacity and lacked the functions and reporting elements we required to help with our growth
Pros
project tracking
automating various elements to make everything more efficient
ease of use and integration
offers varied levels
Cons
the navigation can sometimes feel clunky and isn't always intuitive
it's still a new system for us so needs training
there is so many options that it can be confusing that could be more to do with it still being new and in the early stages for us

We had processes in the place that required many steps and layers to them that were proving very time consuming and ineffective. Causing frustration in the team and also some elements getting missed with the volume. The system enabled us to build an automated version that does exactly what we need it to but is so much more streamlined and easy to use and follow up. it has increased our time efficiency

Very simple to setup and understand the UI across multiple teams. The UI is very easy to navigate especially for users not tech savvy such as user Jira or Azure dev ops.
Dr. Squatch uses monday CRM to plan out yearly promotional marketing calendars for our entire organization, and many other teams, namely our Lifecycle Marketing and Partnership teams, use monday as a campaign management tool. Using monday ensures that all cross-functional teams stay well-informed and updated on all of the details surrounding campaigns. It has allowed us to streamline communication to the appropriate stakeholders on each team so that nothing falls through the cracks; in such a fast-paced environment, this sort of tool is absolutely critical to keeping us organized. The scope of our use case is project and campaign management.
Pros
Project management: We have various copywriters and graphic designers that may be involved with creating assets for any given campaign series. monday allows us to easily assign campaigns to specific team members, and allows those team members to filter to tasks assigned to them. This way, everyone can see the broad scope of projects being worked on across the team, but also stay focused on their individual projects.
Cross-functional collaboration: monday allows our company to stay connected yet organized by using one central board as the guiding light for our yearly promotional calendar. It's easy to break down a project into multiple components, and assign out each piece of the project to various stakeholders across the company to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. We can also rely on monday's calendar view to easily visualize our organizational pipeline.
Progress tracking: We rely on monday's button features to easily visualize where each campaign is in its stage of completion. This makes it extremely easy to quickly get a sense of how we're tracking on our progress, in one quick glance, without having to take extra time to double click into each project and manually view each asset. Instead, we can easily understand where everything is by viewing the buttons we've set up to correlate with each stage in our process (copy, design, QA, partner review, etc.).
Cons
Though we rely on monday's calendar view, it would be much more helpful if the calendar operated a bit more like Google Sheets, where we could easily leave notes/tag members on our team with updates.
Global search: We've used monday for so long, that our board is quiet extensive. We also haven't had a consistent naming convention during the many years I've worked at Dr. Squatch. At times, I'd love a more comprehensive search feature, to make it easy to find to old work we've done even if I don't type in the exact name as it was entered. Perhaps a tagging system could be useful here, to allow us to categorize certain projects that we work on.

Our Integrated/brand marketing and Lifecycle marketing teams find monday CRM to be particularly useful for project management. Integrated marketing uses monday to build out our yearly promotional calendar, which keeps the entire company informed on all the launch and sale details for the year, across both retail and digital channels. The Lifecycle marketing team uses monday CRM to track individual campaign projects, mainly consisting of email asset creation. There are times when monday is not the preferred CRM platform, such as data and analytics tracking, project performance tracking, or scenarios when immediate feedback is required.
We use monday CRM for our entire central work flow - all processes, from internal to customer related tasks. Our entire implementation process for clients runs through monday CRM. We use monday CRM to communicate with our team, it helps with efficiency and visability of work load of the teams and creates a central place where everyone knows what is going on in the business at any time.
Pros
organisation
work flow
automations
making things look easy and simple
to do lists
tasks
Cons
some functionality is kind of hidden - like i don't realise it can do certain automations
Likelihood to Recommend
It's honestly well suited to SME businesses - i think it may struggle with larger businesses as when the boards fill out and get larger it does become a bit laggier with updates and information processing. Small to medium businesses will benefit greatly from this platform from customer related tasks to internal processes.

Our team uses it for visibility and to allow other teams to take a look at all upcoming projects and shows. It is also key to track my employees work and be able to offer assistance when those employees need to take time off.
Pros
Allow visibility across departments
Track project movements
Communicate with other teams
Cons
Needs a simpler interface
to properly utilize it takes tremendous amount of training
should have toned down versions that are easier to adapt for departments that do not touch it as much

We have hundreds of clients with varying projects and timelines and this allows all departments to track each others progress on all of our clients' movements.
