An intuitive and effective collaboration tool for onsite and offsite workshops

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Miro for design thinking workshops with both colleagues and customers in an offsite and onsite environment. It’s extremely useful when we are trying to identify use cases, problem statements, personas, and opps without encouraging the group thinking mentality. Also, Miro offers an extremely intuitive UX, unlike some of its competitors

Pros

  • The ability to easy drag/drop, edit, and write on any text box or posits
  • The out of box templates are abundant and extremely useful
  • The AI assistant is a game changer and really expedites the design thinking process

Cons

  • It would be cool to upload certain documents types and have them easily editable on Miro

Likelihood to Recommend

After trying various tools for collaboration Miro has distanced itself for the simplicity, ease of use, and intuitive interface. Furthermore, little explanation is needed to kickoff an in person or out of office. I’ve run workshops with people that have no experience with Miro and they’ve picked up everything very quickly, limiting the need to discuss at great length the how to’s of Miro

Miro really help me

Rating: 10 out of 10

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Miro to streamline our Customer journey map realization and all our UX/UI needs. We mostly use it by recommendation of all our Agile leaders and coach. It's a lovely approach and the template provided really increases our productivity and helps us to avoid 'the creative' part of the design.

Pros

  • Working with 20 people on the same page!
  • Give artistic inspiration on drawing ideas.

Cons

  • Have a recently shared with me interface helping me to see all the Miro board shared to me.

Likelihood to Recommend

When drawing a customer journey map Miro is well suited to quickly design and describe the action, touchpoint, and feeling of the user. Most of the time you can use Miro directly with the user and streamline your design like this but in some cases, when the customer goes really fast in front of you you will take general notes and draw it later.
