My organisation currently uses MindManager to wireframe ideas for different business functions. These include product development, marketing, and event planning. We also plan to expand the use of the product to financial (budget) management and resource planning. MindManager was chosen after product evaluation since it had the essential features needed.
Pros
Easy to use/Intuitive
Supports different platforms
Very good technical resources/training
Cons
Accessibility features for navigation
Likelihood to Recommend
It is well suited for a quick prototype of product/development planning to show relationships amongst the APIs used. This helps developers understand the impact of the product changes and identifies the need to update integration components to avoid erroneous deployments. I have not personally experienced a less appropriate scenario at the moment.

I use MindManager for brainstorming, project management and generally for visualizing all kinds of issues. With MindManager, for example, technical connections can be displayed wonderfully. I also use MindManager to create flowcharts or visualize processes with swimlanes. My last project was the creation and clear presentation of a technology competency matrix
Pros
flow charts
all tasks of project management
collecting ideas on a whiteboard
easy to create swimlanes
Cons
it would be helpfull to show sizes like DINA0, DINA1,...in the background
Scaling and formatting objects is cumbersome
The ability to insert watermarks would be helpful

There are many useful templates such as business model canvas, SWOT analysis, flowcharts or organizational charts that provide a good starting point and can then be easily adapted to your own requirements
I've been using MindManager for about 20 years for a variety of purposes:Project management, event organization, brainstorming, preparing decision-making documents, test organization, and much more. The program is a great help in collecting keywords, ideas, and/or tasks and structuring them neatly. I've had the opportunity to try out other mind mapping programs (both freeware and licensed), but none compares to MindManager in terms of functionality and ease of use.I wouldn't want to be without this tool anymore and can highly recommend it to anyone interested!
Pros
Brainstorming
Project management
Organization of events
Structuring tasks
Projektmanagement
Organisation von Events

Ideal for project management and event organization, but also for collecting ideas
Bestens geeignet für Projektmanagement und die Organisation von Events, aber eben auch zur Ideensammlung

Twenty years ago, an instructor impressed his class by using MindManager. I was fortunate to be there. Today, mind mapping is one of my superpowers. It is my favorite tool to learn by organizing notes, to go deeper and explore an idea, to create and present strategic plans, and to visually manage an innovation project. MindManager also captivates my audience when I use it to prepare and present a conference, class, or seminar. A well-designed mind map allows me to present complex concepts in a different and straightforward way. It is possible to insert icons, pictures, and URL links, among other elements. One of the key improvements
that I have seen is the following. Ten years ago, I used to share mind maps
with my audience in multi-page PDF files; it was an ordeal to prepare them.
Nowadays, it is much easier to share them as HTML files that my audience can
interact with using a Web browser. I look forward to using MindManager for many
years to come.
Pros
Allows me to learn by organizing notes.
Enables me to create and present strategic plans.
Empowers me to present complex concepts in a different and straightforward way.
Captivates my audience when I prepare and present a conference, a class, or a seminar in MindManager.
Allows me to share mind maps in a variety of formats like JPG, PDF, and HTML.
Cons
I would love to see a free —downloadable, or cloud-based— smaller, limited MindManager version.
I would like to see a free way to export old native MMAP files into current HTML files. Or new native MMAP files into old native MMAP files.
I wish Alludo would establish an affordable way to upgrade an old MindManager license into the current version.
I would like to see Alludo offering a program with free trial licenses for teachers and students using MindManager as an aid in their learning process.

MindManager is great to learn by organizing notes, to go deeper when
exploring ideas, to study the structure of a new law or regulation, to create
and present strategic plans, to design a new course, and to visually manage an
innovation project. It captivates my audience when I use it to prepare and
present a conference, class, or seminar. However, I would not use it again as a
text editor, Web page designer, or PowerPoint slide planner.
I use MindManager for everything. It's the most important software I have, and that includes MS 365, Google, etc. Of course, it's brilliant at mind mapping, but I also use it for project management and information management. The computational fields and hyperlinks are critical capabilities that unlock huge power.
Pros
The computational field is used to plan budget and actual time, and the built-in task management functionality makes it a very powerful project management system. I also use the filter to produce GTD dashboards.
Note-taking and links enable detailed records of meetings and links to emails and documents.
Templates are good, but map parts are very powerful to enable complex maps to be built very easily.
Cons
The system struggles with bigger maps.
Better user guides that allows complex or detailed questions to be answered.
Getting MindManager to share the same customized dictionary with MS Word is difficult.
Likelihood to Recommend
Project management, information management, and idea generation.

C-Level Executive in Research & Development (Research company, 501-1000 employees)
I am a solutions architect, and I use MindManager to develop my ideas and architectural flows. The tool provides me with the basic shapes to create my diagrams. The feature that I appreciate most is the auto layout, which helps me align all the shapes visually.
Pros
Drag and Drop.
Connectors tools.
Alignment tools.
Canvas assist.
Cons
I would like to have exhaustive shape library.
Ability to add my own libraries.
Better annotations.
Likelihood to Recommend
The tool is best suited for product managers, business analysts, and architects to convert their ideas into visual representations. It helps in rapidly building prototypes, and to some extent, I think we can all use this as a UI prototype tool, although it needs some enhancements to do a good job there.

General Manager in Engineering (Information Technology & Services company, 1001-5000 employees)
I use MindManager for the case management of my customers as well as for a valuable tool in my strategy planning for my business. MindManager allows me to clarify the path for each of my customer’s journey and keep track of the documents needed for their case and tasks completed. When using it for my business, MindManager is my go to for goal-setting, project planning and brainstorming ideas.
Pros
Project planing
Mind mapping
Project execution monitoring
Reading summaries
Organizing thoughts and ideas
Cons
Seamless updates
Likelihood to Recommend
Although not meant for actual project planning, MindManager is more appropriate for planning project outside engineering than MS Project as we don’t always want to link activities between each other or plan in extreme detail. In a brainstorming session or project proposal setting, MindManager has all the functionalities needed to collaborate as well as to capture multiple ideas.
We have been using MindManager in the product development team for several years for various tasks such as release planning, release note creation, brainstorming, and workshops, and we are delighted.
Pros
Produkt-Roadmap.
Release notes.
User story structuring.
Idea brainstorming for new product developments.
Minutes of workshops.
Cons
Performance.
Free integration with Jira/Confluence.
Usage of AI.

MindManager is a tool for structured information gathering and organization. We have been using MindManager for over 15 years.
I've used MindManager for over 20 years. I started using it to present sales proposals on one page. I still use it for this reason. I use the radial map to help me capture and organize thoughts in client meetings and when planning. I also use it for process and project timelines. I often receive compliments on the layout of my timeline project maps. I've tried other mapping software to save $$, but they do not perform as well as MindManager. When they added the link for sending to anyone to view, it increased its value for me. It's not for everyone, but it's a gem for those who enjoy capturing thoughts in a manner that allows them to be grouped into categories and presented differently.
Pros
Multiple layouts and formatting options
Publishing links for non subscribers to view and manipulate
Ease of use and solid performance
Cons
Exporting to Word. I wish it came over better. I always have to edit and it takes to much time.
Can we embed videos?
If possible, a little lower cost or a team bundle
